In Denial got its first ever live performance at this year’s All Black Affair by @curiouscreatorssg. It’s finally been heard out in the world, and I feel so grateful it was at an event I love so much.

Over 300 beautiful people, over a dozen talented performers, one unbelievably unforgettable @curiouscreatorssg’ 3rd annual All Black Affair - A Celebration of Music. 🖤

Saturday evening @rasaspace turned into something we've been building toward since day one. You weren't just our audience, you were part of the set. Every singalong to familiar bangers, every silent moment for the ballads we love, every bit of support for artists' original songs, you helped build that room in real time.

From the venue, the sound, the lighting, the singers, the musicians, the photography, the videography, the djs, to the absolutely insane and beautiful crowd - we are truly lost for words (and so are our voices) at how grateful we are for all of the above making the evening what it was: All Black Affair - A Celebration of Music. 🪩

This is why we do what we do: building the culture and community Singapore's independent artists can thrive in. Thank you for filling this one all the way up.

Will do this all over again, next year 😉

WHATS HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND? 🪩

Friday, 11 September >>> Born from different cities, cultures, and communities, Club Mismatch (@clubmismatch) and IsBurning (@isburningamsterdam) share the same belief in creating spaces where individuality is celebrated, self-expression comes naturally, and everyone is free to be exactly who they are. Meet @nainavmusic: one of the headliners for @curiouscreatorssg’ All Black Affair - A Celebration of Music happening on 12 Sept @rasaspace

Singapore-based singer-songwriter Naina makes music that feels exhaling. Her smooth, soulful vocals, heard across two original songs on Spotify - have a quiet, healing quality, the kind that soothes without losing its depth.

There’s no need for theatrics here; every note is unhurried and deliberate, letting the warmth of her voice do the work. Expect a set that slows the room down, in the best way.
