On Saturday 24th October in Central London
We’re bringing together beautiful strong mums, for a gentle afternoon of connection, comfort and support with one another❤️
We recognise that no two journeys through grief are the same, but sometimes being in the company of others who understand can bring a little comfort.

An opportunity to come together over afternoon tea, share memories, talk, listen, laugh if we feel like it, or simply enjoy being in each other’s company. 💛 just a warm, welcoming space where every mother is understood, respected and supported.

🌸 If you are a mother who has lost a child to violence and would like to join our support group & attend the event, or just be added to our WhatsApp support group, please reach out to CAV privately. We would love to welcome you💛

🕊️Your children will always be remembered, and no mother should have to walk this journey alone.

💛 Yesterday CAV was proud to be part of the Every Little Thing Festival in Reading 4th October 2026, bringing people together around wellbeing, kindness and community.

It was an amazing day, Full of Support, Love & unity.

Ty’s Legacy had only just begun our journey of supporting this beautiful family following the tragic and senseless loss of their son, Adam. 💙

Although they are no longer having to navigate the trial process, they were kind enough to share this feedback with us about the support they received from Ty’s Legacy.

Their words are a powerful reminder of just how much practical and compassionate support can mean to a family going through something so deeply painful and traumatic.

Sometimes, it’s the simplest things — a listening ear, understanding, or helping to take away one small worry — that can make someone feel a little less alone. 🥹

I’m sad even when I’m happy but this week is kicking my arse, so many lasts! Last hug, last conversation, last I love you mum! Hearing his sisters lasts, his friends last, his dads lasts, my heart just feels like it’s being stamped on over and over again! I replay our last conversation over and over and i wish, sometimes get angry, that I would have asked you to chill at home that night… I meant every word that I screamed at them scumbags and I hope they all rot in hell, acting like gangsters then chasing an unarmed kid and killing him…they took that gun out for a reason and my boy was the fucking unlucky one! If they didn’t like his face, why not just send him home?! No sense and no reason 😡 They’ve took my heart and happiness but they will never be able to take away how much Ty was loved and how proud of him we were and always will be #tyrecebalcha #forever18 #tyslegacy

❤️Last night, CAV attended the Wembley Public Reassurance Meeting at Boxpark, held following the tragic death of 17-year-old David Wynter at Brent Civic Centre.

We attended to stand alongside bereaved parents listen to the community’s concerns and continue fighting for meaningful change

We were incredibly proud of our Bonnie & Marsha (the mothers of Micah and Tyrece) who spoke with such courage on behalf of their sons, whose lives were taken by violence in the borough.

The room was filled with members of the community, bereaved families, amazing local organisations and professionals but everyone wanted the same thing, a safer, better tomorrow for all our children and young people! The community really came together.

Since September 2025, four young lives have been lost to violence across Brent

🕊️ David Wynter, 17

They were sons, family members, friends and deeply loved young people.
They are more than statistics, and they must never be forgotten!

We will continue to listen, support bereaved families, amplify their voices and fight for the change our communities urgently need.

❤️ CAV Support Afternoon ❤️

This Saturday, CAV is bringing together mums for a relaxed afternoon in Richmond, London, a chance to walk, talk, relax, connect and spend time with other bereaved mums who truly understand. 💛

There’s no pressure and no agenda. Just a safe and understanding space to talk openly, support one another, share experiences or simply enjoy being together.

❤️ Children are also very welcome to join us.

We have also created a CAV Bereaved Mums WhatsApp Support Group so that the support doesn’t end after the afternoon.

Even if you can’t join us this Saturday, you are still very welcome to be part of the group. It’s a safe space to chat, connect with other bereaved mums, share experiences, information and upcoming events, and support one another through the days when having someone who understands can mean so much.

Special Day as we celebrated the life of a young man TYRECE BALCHA that tragically lost his life last year as we await justice his mother @curlz_bc put on a Football tournament to raise money for charity and also celebrate what would of been his 19Th birthday. It’s so sad that big men took the life of a young man I pray that this will stop and so much mothers stop losing theirs sons. Yesterday was Tyrese’s heavenly birthday, and what a day it was. ❤️🥹

His family organised a football tournament in his memory, bringing so many people together to celebrate his life while raising money for NHS Blood and transplant. Tyrese’s selfless gift of organ donation has already saved lives, and yesterday was a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact he continues to have. ❤️

There were signed football shirts, boxing gloves, fundraising, football, laughter, tears, and so much love. Every single person who came along helped make the day so special.

I also want to acknowledge Tyrese’s mum @curlz_bc 💐! As a bereaved parent myself, I know it takes so much strength just to get through each day, let alone organise something so meaningful while still facing everything she is. I honestly don’t have the words for her courage. She and her family are truly incredible. 😍

Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special day. I’m honoured to support you, and I look forward to continuing to help keep our boys’ names alive. 🫂

Yesterday we said goodbye to a beautiful soul one of my oldest friend’s precious son My heart breaks for her a her girls and David I can only imagine the pain they’re feeling. Watching her say goodbye with such love and strength was truly heartbreaking
To my beautiful friend please know you’re not alone. I might not reach out every day, but you are always in my thoughts and I’ll always be here whenever you need me.
Rest peacefully, sweet boy. You’ll never be forgotten. 💙
