This is an appreciation post to one of the most talented, loyal and amazing humans I’ve worked with in my career. She is a huge driver for the culture at Clive’s, we say that I’m the head and she’s the heart. She takes my million mile an hour ideas and make them doable by the rest of the team.

It sometimes said that it is extremely hard to find people like Cara in the hospitality industry, but I believe if you build something, you’ll attract the right people that will stand beside you.

Proud of what we continue to achieve at the lounge. Thank you from the team to all our guests, supporters and regulars, this wouldn't happen without you. The team as always is humbled by such achievement, this is a byproduct of what we strive for everyday. Congratulations to our neighbor and fellow bar, Humboldt for their nod.

We celebrate our strong female lead team everyday, but on this day we show them even more love. Our lounge wouldn't function without the efforts of our team and the culture wouldn't be the same without them. Happy International Women's Day to our team and across the industry.

So it’s Kade’s second last day at Clive’s. He’s been with us for over 2 years and has been a driving force in making Clive’s what it is today. Harry and he started a week apart, he’d never worked in a cocktail bar before but was keen and eager.

To show how he learned the menu after his first weekend, he sent this video of him “training” in his backyard to the group chat. While hilarious, it epitomizes his work ethic to learn the menu before his next shift and to continue bettering himself throughout his entire time here at Clive’s.

Now he’s off on a new chapter of his career and while the team will all miss him, his drive to continuing growing is amazing.

Good luck Kade!
