📖 Book review: Kaalnetra: The trishul chapter by Rahul Ajit Joshi

⭐️Overall rating: 4.5/5

I never knew what to expect from this book, and it has completely fascinated me till the very last word!It is a perfect blend of mythology, history, mystery, and even science fiction! It all starts when Ashoka sees something horrible and buries the secret forever. But it is not the end as the archaeologist Priya Malhotra accidentally finds it under Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. On the other hand, the historian Arjun Singh begins to have strange dreams about forgotten battles, weapons, and even Trishul. What will happen then?A new chapter of history and mystery opens as these two paths converge, revealing a conspiracy that has been buried with the Mauryan Empire. To describe this novel in a sentence, I would say that it speculates on the idea that the ancient weapon Trishul is more than what we know about it.It has several surprising and exciting twists that kept me on edge multiple times. I have to admit that sometimes I had questions that this book did not answer. But, on the contrary, it is exciting to see how Indian history and mythological stories are intertwined with future concepts and are not presented in a stereotypical way.In conclusion, I want to say that it is a great and exciting book that will keep you wondering till the very last page!If you like mythology, ancient history, and adventures full of puzzles and conspiracies, this book will surely become a new discovery for you!📚

📚 Book Review -

📖 Book - The deal
🖊 Author - @ellekennedyauthor
🏛 Publisher - @hachette_india

Just another normal day and bamm, us h-insiders got a message. There is a challenge out for us, a special one, where we members had to create memes and if we were good, we would get a review copy of the super hyped up Off-Campus' first book in the series - The deal.

And guess what happened next?
@currently_khushiii and @sclx.archives - we both with questionable meme making talent set out to get one for ourselves and decided to buddy read it!

Now, we are done with the fun buddy read which was nothing less than any normal adventure, so follow along to see our reviews.

We both are grateful to @hachette_india for trusting us with the review copies and cannot wait to dive into the next book in the series ~☆

So, we started reading the deal a month ago, after we received the review copies, and it was such an adventure.

We kept reading chapters in batches and discussing every moment with each other, with a drink on our side, a Playlist in the background, and our yapping hours on hours.

Even when I was a bit down, the book made me feel so better.

The best way to enjoy it was with music, cozy sunlight, snacks, obviously coffee, and non-stop yapping and crushing on the off campus characters.

Such a nostalgic feeling attached to it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I finally read The Deal by Elle Kennedy, and while I really enjoyed it, I have to admit that I slightly preferred the *Off Campus* adaptation on Prime Video. The series polished a few aspects of the story and made them feel more relevant to today's audience.

What I loved most was Garrett Graham's character development and the way he handled Hannah's trauma with patience and understanding. I also adored the friendships in this book, both the boys' friendship group and Hannah and Allie's bond.

The writing was incredibly easy to get through, and I ended up finishing the entire book in a single day. Reading it alongside a friend and discussing our thoughts every few chapters made the experience even more enjoyable.

A fun, addictive sports romance with memorable
