WORLD RECORD FASHION SHOW
RC CAYLAN

Artprize & RC Caylan broke the world record this past weekend for the most attended fashion show at Acrisure Amphitheater. Over 70 models and 3600+ people came together to celebrate art of many forms. Thankful to be able to capture it. Loved seeing some familiar faces take the stage both on the runway and through dance.

This was sincerely the best experience of my life. I still have to process all of my emotions, mainly because all of my complex feelings are still currently overshadowed by complete gratitude.

Gratitude for my assistant @kennydefazio who unconditionally supported me, challenged me, and stood by my side through this entire experience, making me better.

Gratitude for @rccaylanatelierofficial and how his brilliant creations have not just influenced the community, but have permanently inspired me to create beyond bounds I didn’t know I was confined to.

Gratitude for @artprize and @tylerloftisart for trusting me with such a crucial and monumental responsibility. It is because of you that the energy in Grand Rapids has completely shifted. Just stepping into this city, you can breathe in the artistry and it is all because of the heart and devotion that was put into these past several months.

Gratitude for all of the participating dance companies who’s representation was vital to the foundation of this night @aspirebyeda @aquinasdanceteam @currentsdance @dance_playhouse @essencemvmtco @enigmaticperformancesociety @movement_reservoir @vizionsdance

Gratitude for @mattdavidcreative for capturing not just my day, but the emotions, thoughts, and energy that we were all experiencing through his photography.

Gratitude for the @grsymphony and @operagrandrapids for their collaboration, professionalism, and dream experience of working together.

Graditude for @ellentrumbo for legitimately EVERYTHING.

Most importantly, gratitude for my cast. Trusting me, collaborating with me, supporting me, and inspiring me – I am forever changed by this experience, and you were the part of my heart that I needed to achieve any of this. I will never be able to fully express my appreciation and admiration for you all. @claireknodel12 @a.dandeneau @seanna.dewitt @gabbi_floss @adriann.martinez @rachelgischia @melisadeneweth @aliya.0420 @official_kennedyjane @ariellasiembor @chivae.creates @ona.mather @ava.koester @tyler.plets @taina_rodriguez @aleihagates @ojshu @elleeshaax @diegodaplaymaker @laila.nicolee4 @isabellacroce
