My Favorite Curry in the World 🤍🍛

Curry Koisus in Kyoto has truly become my favorite curry in the world, and their tempura is just as good! There’s something about this meal that just makes you feel warm inside - comforting, delicious, and made with so much heart.

The cozy, quiet atmosphere of the restaurant makes the experience even more special. It’s one of those places where you can simply sit, enjoy your food, and feel happy and at peace.

Every bite feels like a little hug.🥹♥️ If you’re in Kyoto, this is a place I absolutely recommend experiencing. Comfort food at its best!

Kyoto’s best vegan food 🇯🇵🌱

Spent a few days in Kyoto and these were some of my favourite vegan food spots! Most were found through HappyCow, TikTok recommendations or just stumbling across them while exploring, so I’m passing on the favour and sharing my Kyoto vegan food guide with you 🫶🏼

Places I tried:
🌱 Shokaku
🌱 Koe Donuts
🌱 Koisus
🌱 Omen Shijo Ponto
🌱 2050 Coffee
🌱 China Dining Hiten (Nara day trip)
🌱 Kakuozan Fruit Daifuku (Nara day trip)

Places I wanted to try but didn’t get to:
🌱 Ishidatimi
🌱 Matchamon
🌱 Bien Vegan Cafe
🌱 Vegan Izakaya Masaka (tried the branch in Tokyo and was incredible!!!!)

And I’m STILL thinking about the black sesame peanut butter mochi I found… unreal. So annoyed at myself that I didn’t buy the whole box 😭

If you’re looking for vegan restaurants in Kyoto, vegan Japanese food, or planning a Kyoto food itinerary, save this for your next trip 🇯🇵🌱
