Good morning and Happy Monday! How do you start your day and honor yourself? I recently added some meditation in every morning, which has been a really great way to start the day quieting my mind, and connecting. I do quite a bit of journaling as well. If you are pressed for time and need a good option, the @fiveminutejournal is a really nice way to start a journaling habit with a small amount of time. And then.... COFFEE! I have loved cold brew for years, and recently figured out how easy it is to make! Cold brewed coffee is my favorite year round for the lower acidity, the smooth taste and the caffeine! 🧘🏻‍♀️✍🏼☕️✨

#latergram Last night enjoyed a home cooked meal and so much wonderful conversation with my Godmother @currydiva. Sri Lankan string hoppers, coconut rotti, coconut sambal, and black gold. Nothing better than a night in celebrating life and all the opportunities that lie ahead 🌎✨

Always fun to spend some time with my Godmother, @currydiva. Even when we are feeling tired and a little under the weather. What a wonderful evening with family!

Walked past Our Kitchen this evening and it looked super packed (which is unusual cuz they’re really only a breakfast place). They had a couple open seats so we were invited to stay for an impromptu Sri Lankan dinner by the @currydiva. IT WAS SO GOOD. Felt like I was in an episode of Louie, for how he always seems to stumble into super unique happenstances. #srilankanfood #mplsfoodie

Quality > quantity. I bought these beautiful @catskillmoccasins about 15 years ago with @currydiva at the MN Renaissance Festival. They are custom fitted for me, and I was able to choose all of the details. They look about the same as the day I bought them. Incredibly comfortable, and high quality craftsmanship. I could have a few pairs of boots for this cost. But none of them would last as long, be molded for my foot, or stay in this kind of condition. There are some things that are worth a higher price, for the quality and use that you get out of them.
