My cookbook club is one of the things I look forward to most every month. It’s not about posting or performing, sometimes we all show up in sweats. We don’t take partnerships or even pitches from cookbook authors, it’s just a group of girlfriends trying to become a little better in the kitchen (my favorite part will always be setting the table!) It’s not organized - we just pick a cookbook and everyone texts their recipe to the chain. The informality of it all makes it all the more precious and special to me. We’ve had real friendships blossom and even a career change come out of it!

I did not expect @serenagwolf to accept my invite (we’ve met exactly once and book tours are so busy!!!) but I’m so glad she did. She fit right in and we had the best night cooking from her new book YOU DO YOU (which is brilliant because the “doing you” part means she provided tons of swaps for each recipe, all thoughtfully tested out for us). We love you Serena, thanks for joining!!!!!! (And everyone else; pick up YOU DO YOU! I will link it in stories.)

🌷 botanical whiplash 🌹i overheard locals say that late June is one of their favorite times in Nantucket because it’s the only moment when the roses and hydrangeas bloom simultaneously 🦞 our decadent @shophart dinner to celebrate our cameo collab with 167🧜🏼‍♀️ nerding out at the whaling museum, scrimshaw really makes my heart go pitter patter. if you love historical nonfiction like me and you haven’t read IN THE HEART OF THE SEA yet, i highly recommend!! his special twine! the twisted iron harpoon! 🥹 sporty sightseeing with @currypollo 🚴‍♀️ the rolling hills of wild flowers and grasses are gobsmackingly gorgeous 🌾🌾🌾

Palm Beach girls trip @thecolonypalmbeach and now I understand why people never leave. Comment WANT for links.

It’s pink, it’s glamorous, and it feels like the chicest sorority house imaginable in the best possible way. 💕

Poolside breakfasts, Swifty’s lunches, the best people watching in Palm Beach, and outfits that somehow feel effortless but still turn heads.

A few favorites from the trip:
• the little yellow bikini that doubles as a lunch look
• my forever French girl travel hat
• the knit set I wore almost every morning
• green silk pants that stopped people in their tracks

As it happens when the walk is good, someone suggested staying a little longer. This dinner at @dunlinauberge @linnetteschs @auberge wasn’t about celebrating a hotel or a city, but the invisible thread that pulled us back to our friends at @shophart.

A carousel of moments where the feast was merely an excuse to share the journey traveled. Dorothy taught us that true luxury is walking accompanied by those who require no explanations. A toast to the encounters fate hides among the flowers, and to the nights that linger because no one wants to stop walking together. ✨🥂

Sunset at The Dunlin, the beach hotel in town.

After a day of creation, the rhythm of Charleston invited us to pause. At @dunlinauberge @auberge @linnetteschs, we reunited with our old friends from @shophart. No explanations were needed; some companies aren’t restarted, they simply continue, as if time had never passed.

An intimate dinner under the South Carolina stars to celebrate the path that allowed us to find each other again. Dorothy knows it now: there are silences and detours that are, in truth, the sweetest of destinations. ✨🥂
