✨Seven Deadly Sins - Bookish Edition✨

I did this challenge last year but thought I’d give it a bit of a refresh as it was so fun!

I’ve tagged a few friends but as always there’s no pressure. If you see this and would like to get involved, consider yourself tagged 🩷

#bookstagram #bookchallenge #sevendeadlysins #bookstack

💫Lust - Steelborn

I bought this one purely for the cover because it’s just so stunning, and I’m very impressed with my willpower to not buy the special edition (even though I’m regretting it now)!

💫Sloth - When The Moon Hatched

After seeing so many mixed reviews, I’m not sure this is one that I will ever get round to picking up. It just feels like it’s going to be a bit hard work!

💫Pride - The Secret of Secrets

Dan Brown is one of my auto buy authors and his book, The Lost Symbol, is one of my favourite books of all time, but sadly this one was a bit too clever for me and the science aspect went over my head!

💫Gluttony - The Song of Achilles

In case you can’t tell from the well-loved cover, this is one of my top three favourite books and I have read it countless times. I’m probably due a re-read soon!

💫Envy - Legends & Lattes

Cosy cafes in a cosy little town with a wholesome found family…what more could you want!

💫Greed - The Book That Held Her Heart

I do tend to pick up multiple copies of my favourite books and here I have the copy I read, a signed edition to keep in mint condition and the Locked Library special edition

💫Wrath - Fallen Gods

Sadly, even though the blurb sounded so good, this just wasn’t my cup of tea at all and I ended up DNFing at just over 90 pages

✨📚 A book we can’t forget ✨📚

We cannot stop thinking about The Silversmith by LJ Claren 🖤

The yearning? Absolutely devastating.
The storyline? Completely consuming.
The characters? Gavin Smyth is the best book boyfriend of all time!

It’s one of those books where you finish the last page… and somehow you’re still there. Still thinking about the tension, the emotions, the choices, the characters, and all that delicious, aching yearning. 😭

And now… BOOK 2 IS COMING IN LESS THAN 30 DAYS. 🫠📖

Are we ready? Absolutely not.
Are we prepared to have our hearts ripped out all over again? Also absolutely not.
Are we counting down the days until we can cry our hearts out? 100%
Have we recommended this book to everyone we know and gotten them to buy it? All of them have bought it!!

The Silversmith has officially taken up permanent residence in our brains, and we have a feeling book 2 is about to make things even worse. Bring on the angst. Bring on the yearning. Bring on the tears. We. Cannot. Wait. 😭✨

🌼🌷Floral Stack🌷🌼

QOTD: what is your favourite plant or flower? I love a cactus or primrose 🌵

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday! Me and Belle (and my partner) are just back from a lil beach mini break and we are wrecked 🐾

The absolutely wonderful @ashs_enchanted_reads tagged me in a floral stack challenge (their page is unreal so defo check it out! 🌻)

I actually don’t own many edges that are solely floral themed so we have also included leaves and hints of florals and included some pretty flowers to help out 🩷 Also my hayfever went mental when making this and now feel like a need a pollen detox 🥲

I have tagged some bookish besties to to give this a go and cannot wait to see what you all come up with (no pressure tho) 🌺

Books included are:

🌵Half City
🌸To Bleed a Crystal Bloom
🌷The Traitor Queen
🌿Thorn Season
🌺What Fury Brings
🌼Deaths Daughter
🪷Broken Souls and Bones
🪻Throne of Secrets
🌹The Bridge Kingdom
🍀To Snap a Silver Stem
🌻Bitten

Also yes I committed to the role of a Bookstagrammer and had a bouquet of flowers I ripped apart to make this happen with some fake flowers and some serious editing (some were saved and kept alive though so dw 😂)

Hope everyone has a lovely evening ✨

Which of these should I pick up first?

📚 Physical TBR stack 📚

I was tagged by the lovely @readingpageswithjess to share my physical TBR pile, so I've picked a top 4 that I've got my eye on after my ToG re-read!

My kindle is drowning in downloaded Dramione fics, and I still need to get to Light Wielder.

I've also got the Ever King lined up to kick-start a long-awaited pirate era. All with ACOTAR 6 looming... so it looks like summer 2026 will be a big one for reading ✨

If you see this, consider yourself tagged! Some wonderful accounts tagged to share yours, if you fancy.

Happy weekend all!

🥀Dark Floral Stack🌿

Thanks to the lovely @samsliteraryadventure for tagging me in this challenge! I actually didn't realise how many floral edges I have on my shelves now, so I loved picking some! 💐

I've been a bit quieter on here the past few days as I've been suffering with the lurg that's going round, but I'm hopefully coming out of the other side. So I'll be back to stalking you all again soon 😂

Hope you've all had a great weekend, and the week ahead is kind to you 💛

I've tagged a couple of you to join the challenge, but as always, there's no pressure!

Hey lovelies!👋

I hope you've been having a wonderful festive season and had plenty of time to do some reading or chill!

I had a brilliant Christmas and feel incredibly lucky for those in my life and so grateful for the gifts received from my loved ones.

I also want to say a massive thank you to my booksta besties @bookish_spoonie and @cursed_to_read for the generous gifts. I'm very lucky to have met you and feel even more love for the community and friendships I've made on here! ❤️

Today's photo is just a stack of some of the amazing gifts I received. I have plenty of reads to keep me busy in 2026 already!

❓️The question is, which one of these do I start with first? Please help influence my brain!
