DNA Music Implants 07 — Donna Lee Gets Funky 💨

I started with a snippet my drummer-extraordinaire friend Curt Bisquera had posted and used it as the foundation for a funk/rock reinterpretation of the Charlie Parker bebop classic.

First I played the synth-bass part on my black Falcon/Hayabusa prototype by Sondelli Guitars, using its hexaphonic pickup through a BOSS SY-1000.

Then, on the red version, I doubled the theme and played a round of solo using my Cortex signature sound pack by Choptones.

Bebop DNA, transplanted into something completely different!

Today is my 4 year anniversary since I pulled up my danish roots and moved across the globe to Los Angeles

This adventure is beyond my immagination.
Standing on stage at the legendary Hollywood Bowl listening and chatting with old friends from Toto and new friends from Christopher Cross.

Making friends with most of my childhood heroes at Baked Potato.

Touring the mid west was amazing and beautiful

The sunsets… OMG!!!

Harvey Mason scared the heck out of me when he overheard me practicing at MI.

More to come!

Love y’all 🫶
