MUSIC PROJECT CLOSING PARTY Chanida Vorapitak — The House That Remembers Fire (Live) For the final day of MUSIC PROJECT, Chanida Vorapitak develops ‘The House That Remembers Fire’, her first experiment mixing sound with AI and originally contributed to Experimental Library Music (ELM), into a 40-minute live set. Expanding from the tracks she submitted to ELM, Chanida creates a sonic world that carries MUSIC PROJECT towards its end. The work began as an experiment in conversation between human and AI, and continues from Chanida’s visual book ‘Memory Loop, The House That Remembers Fire’ (2025). Approaching sound through methods familiar to her visual practice — editing, cutting, layout, retouching, and layering — she treats sound much like graphic material on a printed page. Working from a position of not knowing how music is conventionally produced, Chanida experiments with how different processes can indirectly generate a structure that begins to resemble a song. This approach extends from her broader artistic practice, in which she creates worlds and characters to live with and test different systems of truth — from the politics of reshaping the world and exploitative capitalism to pseudoscience and conspiracy — drawing from online news, chance encounters, and experiences with her son. @ryuta_aoki_ will participate in the programme "Patch Notes That Refuse a Settled World," organized by the Thai artist collective STACK @stack_xyz in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Thailand @goetheinstitut.thailand. This is an international programme consisting of exhibitions, screenings, performances, and talks, where artists from all over the world, centering on Thailand and Southeast Asia, gather to explore moving images, media art, games, digital culture, ecology, and emerging technologies through local histories, cosmologies, myths, indigenous knowledge, and experiences. The title originates from "patch notes" in software and gaming culture. The world is not completed all at once, but continues to be updated through care, repair, coexistence, and incessant transformation—this gaze toward a "world open to being rewritten" deeply resonates with Ryuta’s own interest in trying to launch alternative futures from lost computational cultures. In this programme, Ryuta will take the stage as a main speaker and panelist, and a screening of Alternative Computations will also be conducted. As an extension of the exchange that has been built between Southeast Asia and Japan, we are looking forward to the birth of dialogue that transcends countries and genres. 🗓 July 11 – July 12, 2026 📍 TCDC Bangkok, Thailand 🔗 https://www.stackth.xyz/en Credit: Natthorn Tansurat @natthornt

PATCH NOTES THAT REFUSE A SETTLED WORLD begins elsewhere . Worlds do not arrive all at once. . They are assembled through stories, migrations, rituals, technologies, repair, and unexpected encounters. They overlap, diverge, and coexist. . Borrowing its title from software and gaming culture, Patch Notes That Refuse a Settled World approaches patch notes not simply as records of fixes, but as traces of worlds that remain open to revision. . A settled world leaves little room for other stories. Its meanings appear fixed, its future already decided. This programme turns instead toward worlds sustained through care, repair, coexistence, and continual transformation. . Bringing together artists from Thailand, Southeast Asia, and beyond, the programme explores moving image, media art, games, digital culture, ecology, and emerging technologies through local histories, cosmologies, myths, vernacular knowledge, and lived experiences. . 📍 04 July 2026 — TCDC Bangkok 📍 11–12 July 2026 — Goethe-Institut Thailand .
