What first drew me into Hillary is she was running a marathon to raise awareness for missing & murdered indigenous women before I seen any local advocacy. We connected and I got to know her a little more and learned on her roots as Cuahilla Mexican. 👧🏽

I usually wear pants, a jacket, and boots for safety and cuz punk. The majority of my clothing is second hand or handmade. Second hand from @rrfm_anaheim, thrift stores or the swapmeet. I was a swapmeet child since I was like 11 yrs old? I loved to go every weekend to find vintage clothes. At 14yrs old started altering things I found cuz they weren't punk enough. Growing up we couldn't afford much, there was no other option than to buy used. My mom was a seamstress for years till she lost her job due to outsourcing.. on my 18th birthday. They wanted to make more profit so they moved to another country where they pay the workers nothing. It made me think about the tags in my clothing. I can't help but always think about the people that are paying the price for us to have $10 pants that are going to be thrown out in a few months. Getting overworked, underpaid, working in unsafe conditions, assaulted, killed, etc. Always ask yourself, Who made my clothes?
