Sneakerness 2026 📸

Such a fun event to capture.

For this series, i really took my time with the portraits. Most of the photos were shot with flash, and sometimes i spent around 15 minutes on a single image.

That’s exactly what I enjoy about this way of shooting: taking the time to talk, connect, see what works, and only then take the photo. I think you can really see that connection in the final images.

Thanks to Matthijs van der Meulen and Sven Dekker for the trust.

And of course, thanks to @shotzbydani for helping with the lighting during the shoot. 🙌

A small selection from @sneakerness 2026.

🎥 LOCATIE GEZOCHT – MUZIEKVIDEO

📅 Donderdag 29 Oktober
📍Omgeving Breda, Etten-leur of Roosendaal

Stuur me vooral een DM! ❤️

Last Sunday I photographed ZUID Street Culture Fest at @pier15skatepark in Breda. 📸

For events like this, I often work with external flashes, large light stands, a softbox and a reflector.
That sometimes means I spend 10 to 15 minutes on a single photo: finding the composition, setting the light and waiting for the right moment.

The advantage of working this way is that I have much more control. It also increases the chance of creating images that are strong enough to be used as a poster or campaign image.
Not every photo in this series was shot with flash, but most of them were.

Shout-out to @outlinedbylucy : we shot the photo of the graffiti artist standing in front of his artwork together. 🙌

In collaboration with @bredaactief , @jessejoeyjames @pier15skatepark and @blindwallsgallery

RSCW 2026 📸

It has become a yearly tradition for me to photograph both days. Always great to capture all the different subcultures, people and energy within street culture.

Every year also feels a bit like a reunion. You keep running into people you’ve worked with before which can be dangerous when you’re also supposed to be taking photos 😂

Big thanks to @jivthechief , @michel and @danijelribaric for the trust every year. And thanks to @shotzbydani for helping out with the photography 🙌

Just a small selection from the many photos I shot this year.

Keeping heritage alive through innovation

🎬 Behind the scenes!
