— Yesterday, while I was at the Mid-Penn League Championship supporting another athlete, I found out Henry was there too.

So for the first time, we got the chance to meet in person.

What's amazing is that this is the third time in the last two weeks that this has happened with one of my athletes.

And honestly, moments like this bring so much joy to what I do.

One of my favorite parts of coaching athletes is that sometimes a relationship begins long before we ever meet face-to-face.

Henry and I have been working together inside The Edge Inner Circle, building confidence, identity, focus, and the mental side of performance.

We've talked about who he is at his best.

We've talked about the words he uses to describe himself.

We've talked about what confidence looks like, feels like, and how to train it.

Yesterday, we finally got the chance to shake hands and meet in person.

Building relationships like this is what matters most to me.

Proud of you, Henry, and the work you're putting in.

We're just getting started.
