Destruction complete! District Champs! 5-2! 12 straight scoreless quarters. Three straight shutouts. Defense has been dominant. The Chiefs offense is starting to look fluid and handle business. The defense is tackling and making plays. It was 51-0 at halftime. Running clock the entire second half. This is what you do to teams you are better than. You give them no hope. You destroy them from the jump. Gibbons is coming together at the right time. On to Flanagan next Friday before the big one vs. Chaminade on Oct. 22 at Gibbons. But 1-0 every week is the goal. This week it was 2-0! Let's go Chiefs! #chiefs #cardinalgibbons #destruction #dragonslayers #districtchamps

It’s go time! @cardinalgibbonsfootball hosts @monarchknights at Gibbons tonight at 7pm. The Chiefs (2-0) are coming off an electric 47-41 3OT win over McArthur while Monarch won its own shootout 48-41 over Miramar last week. The Knights have a potent aerial attack and will test the Chiefs back 7. The Chiefs are looking for a 3-0 start and look to rebound defensively after a struggle in situational plays when they couldn’t get off the field in 3rd and longs and 4th down situations! It should bring fireworks! Go time! Don’t miss it! #cardinalgibbons #monarch #showdown #football

Young offensive line? No problem. This team's got talent all over, especially on defense. Keep an eye on Tyson Henley and Nick Brissett – smart, skilled, and aiming for P4 offers. Plus, DeMarcus Deroche is already making major noise!

Home opener time! @cardinalgibbonsfootball is in the building! It’s not a day game, but it will always be The Furnace to me from when I covered Gibbons with The Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel! The Chiefs are 1-0 and have their home opener against a tough McArthur squad who is walking in trying to ruin the Chiefs night! The Chiefs have an excellent defense led by @caelinfealy @peyton_catronio @nick.brissett and an offense spearheaded by QB @__t1.___ and elite pass catchers @javian1norwood and @305_dj2 …. August 28 at 7pm. Don’t miss it! Come support your Chiefs! #cardinalgibbons #chiefs #homeopener

Iron sharpens iron! Getting ready for the home opener, Cardinal Gibbons had a little fun at practice. 1 on 1s! Nothing better than watching 1 on 1s! Who got the better of who? Who has bragging rights for a day? Either way, team work makes the dream work. Who do you think won the battle today between the WRs and the DBs? At the end of the day, it’s about getting 1 percent better everyday. #ironsharpensiron #teamwork #battle #1percentbettereveryday

QB on the rise! @__t1.___ Tyler Chance with a solid season opening performance! 162 yards passing and two touchdowns. Chance hit pass catchers all over the field, two beautiful TD passes, a couple of perfect passes downfield that were dropped in a basket, a couple more a centimeter away, Chance throws a great deep ball, has pin point accuracy and a strong arm. Chance is going to start collecting offers this fall! #qb1 #tylerchance #cardinalgibbons #leader
