To those who have come to test me —
with silence, distance, or dressed-up betrayal —
thank you.
You didn’t : haven’t & won’t break me.
You brought me back to myself.
Each sting, each crack only reminded me
what I will no longer carry, chase, or explain.
I’m not falling apart.
I’m falling into place.

And to the ones who stayed —
who listened, held space, reminded me who I am — (sorry for sounding like a broken record)
thank you, deeply.
Your presence has meant more than you’ll ever know.
You are the soft landings I appreciate more than you’ll ever know,
and the solid ground I now stand on.

To my dad — thank you for showing me
everything I never want to become.
To my mum — thank you for showing me
the fierce, flawed beauty of womanhood.

This strength you see?
It’s been earned.
Every tear. Every test.
Every time I got back up.
And I will continue to do so…

And to those who continue to break me - just remind yourselves / I’m a god damm Aries from The Welsh Valleys, who got her ars to London at 18 and got a 1st class degree, and bought her own flat at 22 with zero money or leg up from anyone!!! TAG THAT PERSON! Who just gets you?! The one you can text without all the formalities—no “hey” or “good morning.” Just an endless stream of random thoughts, hilarious reels, voice notes, crying, meltdowns, and crashing out together. It’s the messy, chaotic moments that make it all worthwhile. With them, it’s pure love, laughter, and letting it all out. 💕

5 Life Lessons My Mum Taught Me:
1. The people who truly care will always show up for you.
2. You don’t need constant contact to feel someone’s love.
3. A simple message can carry so much comfort.
4. Presence speaks louder than words.
5. Knowing who’s there for you is one of life’s greatest lessons.

This year has been one of the toughest, yet it’s also been filled with moments of love and smiles. It’s taught me some important life lessons, and one of the biggest is understanding who truly shows up for you. It’s the people you can call, text, share a meme with, or simply those whose messages say, “Don’t worry, I don’t expect a reply, babe—just wanted you to know I’m here for you.” And honestly, you have no idea how much it means to me to feel your presence in my energy field. 💓💓💓💓
