I am just a girl. Just a girl supporting women authors. 💕🌸💘🎀🩰🧞‍♀️🧜‍♀️ Just a girl who loves to read and collect books. When you feel sad, books bring joy. When you feel overwhelmed, books bring the calm. When you need inspiration, books bring ideas. When you need some feminine rage, books bring the heat. The options are endless. Authors and book boxes tagged in case you need some literature therapy.

For the books that you pick up with not too many expectations and they send you to the floor.... Part 1. *Because I have read way too many for just one video ❤️

P.S. I love it when that happens....especially when it comes from book 2!

September Hopefuls

I just made my September hopeful reading list, and it’s absolutely stacked with incredible books!

Do I actually think I’m going to read 18 books in September? No. But it’s impossible to narrow this list down. Either way, these books are all in my fall TBR, so I’ll be reading them soon anyway.

What’s on your TBR?

The Quiet Beyond the Well by @cwwrenauthor. A haunting romantic fantasy with elements of Celtic folklore, gothic undertones, and an unavoidable quest.

My reviews have changed quite a bit over the past year, and with the second book in this series approaching, I thought it was time to revisit this one.

I could not tear myself away from this book last summer and have been thinking about that brutal cliffhanger ever since. I can’t wait to see how the author fixes my broken heart in the next book…assuming that’s the plan. That’s the plan, right?

For those who crave a melancholic world for their stories, but not without witty banter along the way.

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒬𝓊𝒾𝑒𝓉 𝐵𝑒𝓎𝑜𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒲𝑒𝓁𝓁 by CW Wren

@cwwrenauthor

One of the most UNDERRATED masterpieces of a book. This is probably one of my all time favorite books. Not only is is STUNNING (both the standard AND the special edition) but the story, the characters, and the lore are just so perfectly balanced and written. Wren is also probably one of the sweetest people ever on top of all that 🥺.

It’s been a minute since this has debuted, and let me just tell you, I’ve been a CONSTANT thorn in Wren’s side waiting for book two. I’ve been begging @hiddenirises to read it and practically threw it at @unnamednonsense to read 😅

I’m excited to see where we go after that CLIFFHANGER of an ending. I miss Calder and Keane being a mesh of Shrek and Donkey/Geralt and Jaskier 🤣 and then the sass of Emer and Banner. I’m READY.

I just need my boys and Emer back 😭.

Apparently my favorite genre is ✨books that are unnecessarily pretty✨ and this unboxing absolutely delivered.

Now the important question: which one is your favorite?

A little romantasy, a little dark romance, a LOT of sprayed edges, foiling, special editions and books I definitely did not need multiple copies of… but look at them. How was I supposed to say no?!

The newest additions to my shelves:

📖 The Witch in the Dead of Night by Charlotte Buckley — FairyLoot
📖 Steelborn by Taylor J. LaRue — FairyLoot + Waterstones editions
📖 The Quiet Beyond the Well by CW Wren — Coveted Cover
📖 The Bargainer Omnibus by Laura Thalassa — Coveted Cover
📖 Midnight Message by Avina St. Graves — Special Edition
📖 Eldrith Manor by Avina St. Graves & Leigh Rivers — Special Edition
📖 The Web of Silence Duet (Little Stranger + Little Liar) by Leigh Rivers — Special Editions
📖 The Edge of Darkness Trilogy (Insatiable, Voracious + Restitution) by Leigh Rivers — Special Editions
📖 Psychotic Obsession by Leigh Rivers — Special Edition

I swear special edition books are becoming their own form of art at this point.

Keep swiping for tropes & blurbs of these beautiful books! ➡️📚♥️

The Fates Between Us:
Fallyn Ravenshade’s nightmares always end the same way—with her death at the hands of an unseen figure. Nightmares that now threaten to bleed into reality leave Fallyn unnerved and searching for signs of her impending demise in every passerby.

When her city is razed to the ground, Fallyn unwittingly breaks the seal on Ash, a forgotten male bound by shadows, unleashing a terrible curse in the form of a black stain spreading across their left hands with each passing day. Once the stain reaches their hearts, the curse will devour them both.

Between his tortured gaze and his sharp tongue, Fallyn must decide if Ash is yet another wickedness that haunts her realm or a victim trapped beneath it. Together, they must remain alive long enough to uncover the truth of who they are and the countless lifetimes that bind them together in betrayal and ruin. But Ash isn’t the only one holding a claim over Fallyn’s fate. In the darkest corners of Inithilia, others hunt her, ancient and desperate.

But the more Fallyn and Ash learn, the clearer their fates this curse has always ended in tragedy.

The Quiet Beyond the Well:
Emer has always wished for quiet, but when a mysterious illness plagues her father, she forsakes the security of her meadow and embarks on a perilous journey in search of a cure before it is too late. Her destination - Isle Basalt. Where magic, monsters, and a Well of healing await. Nothing on the Isle is as it seems, and the lines between friend and foe grow murky in the shadows cast by old secrets brought to light.

As the cure draws nearer, Emer learns that facing her fears is the least of what she is willing to do. Will she reach the Well and finally find quiet beyond it, or will she discover she should have been more careful wi
