I am here. I belong. I am home.

Every retreat I’ve led over the years has been memorable in its own way and this past week in Mexico felt like a full circle moment. It felt like coming home in a way I didn’t know I needed.

My very first retreat as a baby yoga teacher was here at @pranadelmar in 2018. I was still in the process of finding my voice and my confidence. I was nervous and excited and thrilled that anyone would want to spend a week in Mexico doing yoga with me.

On day one of this retreat, I found out that ours would be the very last retreat at Prana Del Mar. It was both a goodbye and a celebration of all that has been and all that has yet to come.

I knew this time around I wanted to go deep - into practice, philosophy, conversation, self-reflection. We went on a journey through the elements, tapping into the wisdom that lives around and inside us.

We practiced remembering our wholeness, our belonging. We practiced coming home to ourselves, to each other, to the entire world.

The best part about retreat, if I had to choose? The people. Always, the people. Magical things happen in the conversations over meals, the collective stargazing, connecting through practice, the joy and laughter and bonding over weird silly things.

To say that my heart is full would be an understatement.
Thank you Prana Del Mar for taking such good care of us. Thank you @soundhealingproject for supporting us in deep rest and healing.
Thank you to the most wonderful group of human beings for walking each other home.
