Doesn’t matter what you leave your children. It’s who you are that stays with them forever. Integrity of character is the most important thing my mom and dad imprinted in me.. My dad bought this red 9’0 Donald Takayama back in 1997 for El Niño . This is what I learned to surf on. Below, is a board I saw at the thrift store not even priced yet. But I gave an offer and took it home. hope to surf it this El Niño winter.
Without the people & animals that have shaped who I am, not one thing in my room would have a story.

I felt like ME with this photoshoot. Soaking up the last few months of my 20s has me feeling introspective. 29 has been one of the wildest and best years of my life thus far. I used to dread it. Scared of 29 more than 30 by far. I’ve never felt more confident, joyful, and full of life! A life motto of mine is “I bloom where I’m planted”. I may not live up to that motto all the time, but I sure try to find the good no matter what season I’m in.

I’m not good enough. My content sucks. I don’t have the “look”. I’m not as cool as this other content creator. Thoughts that have been looping in my mind lately. Then I realized…what a lazy and selfish way of thinking. Just…do better. Get new ideas and apply them. Push yourself. Don’t wallow in self pity. We all struggle with insecurities, but I don’t want those insecurities to pit me against other women. As corny as it sounds, there’s a saying in real estate: have a mindset of abundance. It’s applicable to endless scenarios.

I feel like it goes without saying, but I will never alter the shape of my body in photos. For some reason I feel convicted, and always have, to never get Botox or filler. No. I’m not better than those who have. Or more beautiful. But I feel the need to live authentically. The closer I get to 30 the more tempting all of that is. And then I stop and contemplate how sorrowful it would be to erase all the smiles from memories gone by.
