When Tatiana asked me to draw a black thorns heart to tattoo on her throat, I said “hey it’s fucking cool”
Then we were at the studio talking about the design and trying different things, and we thought it’d be even better with some roses and maybe let’s add a black star in the middle?!
Then I was tattooing her throat and thought “what if the star was filled with red instead? No pressure if it doesn’t sound like you, I just think it would look even better” and then she was like “hell yeah let’s go for it, also add some pink for the roses” and I was “omg yeah”
Long story short, every custom tattoo I make is a collaboration between you and me. I’m here to transform your idea into something that looks good on you, like forever?! But also I’m always asking about what you think about my ideas, because in the end you’re the one wearing it. Communication is key. There’s no wrong questions. Don’t be afraid to say something to your tattooer because you might regret not trying differently later? We can take all the time you need, I’m usually the one re doing the stencils 10 times if I feel like trying something else or whatever.
Could be worth trying, could end up placing it like the first one again? Don’t care
Oh and I also made a nice lettering on Tatiana’s belly after that. The pain was easier I guess, even though I’m kinda fast and light handed
Tattoos hurt. Especially throat tattoos..
But they’re worth it. Especially if they make you feel better about yourself, or if you just think you look cooler, or more yourself with them, or whatever it is for you
Book a tattoo with me this summer in Paris. You can get tattooed in summer. Easy peasy. But I have limited space, so now you know
See you soon 🖤
