Buy a laptop before you buy a camera. 📸💻

Yes, I said it.

If you’re just starting photography and can only afford one major purchase, I’d choose a good laptop first.

You can rent or borrow a camera, but you can’t edit, deliver your work, or earn from retouching without a capable computer.

Remember: you’ll often spend more time editing than you do shooting.

Would you buy the laptop first or the camera? Let me know why in the comments. 👇

Every year on International Women’s Day, we celebrate women across the world. We celebrate their strength, their brilliance, and the impact they continue to make in society.

Today, we’re celebrating these incredible women who are contributing to the creative space in their own unique ways. From photography and film to music, art, movement, and culture, their work continues to inspire and shape the industry.

Here’s to the women creating, building, and leaving their mark. Happy International Women’s Day.

From running in the rain with my friends to film the shots for my video, to receiving a congratulatory email. God is indeed good.

In a few days, I’ll be in Geneva for the UNIDIR Outer Space Security Conference 2025 to share my perspective on space security and join other brilliant young people shaping conversations about humanity’s future beyond Earth.

I had moments where I doubted it would work out. But today, God proved himself faithful. His Mercies have made me stand out today.

I’m so grateful to UNIDIR for giving us young voices this platform. And I have to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped me along the way. To my family, my parents, my big sisters, you guys are my biggest cheerleaders and supporters ❤️🥰🥺

My mentors and sponsors, Prof Gabriel Arishe, @toyinatanda_ @iamdot01 @ladyariyike @ukaraobong_ @mrwalebakare @racheall_john @jerryorhue @thejohniyoha Thank you all so much for the support and encouragement so far.

To my friends @kingbhoyor @themideniyi_ @flourikay @theimmageorg @abigailibukun_ @charlesfavour_1 @doj.graphy @itohan_osemwegie you guys sacrificed time, energy and resources to show up and help me. You’re all part of this story.

Geneva, see you soon. 🌍✨

Last slide is the process❤️

With Creativerse 1.0, we set out to do something different —💯
To create a space that inspires, challenges, connects, and most importantly, impacts.💪🏽🔥

To give a platform to voices that have been grinding in silence.

Because the truth is, we need a creative industry we can all be proud of — right here in Edo State.
One that supports, collaborates, and grows with us.

From the speakers to the audience, we’re all building something.
This is for the ecosystem. This is for the culture. This is for the future.✅💯

1 day to go.
Creativerse is here!!
