A taste of Greece in the centre of Birmingham. At CYLLA, the team wants that to come through in both the cooking and the welcome.

Owner Adonis Maniadakis draws on the flavours and traditions he grew up with, bringing them into a modern Greek menu with mezze made for sharing.

During one of our Birmingham events, our guests tried prawn orzo, cooked with bouillabaisse and shallots, topped with prawns sautéed in butter and garlic.

For vegetarian guests, briam: aubergine, courgette and red pepper, slow-cooked for around five hours with tomato paste brought from Greece, then finished with a spoonful of Greek yoghurt.

Thank you to the CYLLA team for welcoming our guests and sharing a taste of your traditions 🥂

Our Restaurant of the Year finalists are all playing their part in making Birmingham’s hospitality scene one of the most exciting around!

A Sunday well spent eating our way around Birmingham.

A few of our favourites plus a couple of new places that were on the list. Can highly recommend @restauranttour_uk — you get a small plate and a decent glass of wine or a cocktail at each place.

Would absolutely do this again
