PART 2: Maybe the plan was never supposed to go MY way. 🥹🙏🏾 Because how you gone pray for the opportunity… then get uncomfortable when God answers the prayer differently than you pictured it? 😭 No luxury hotel. No perfectly planned Martha’s Vineyard experience. Just me, my suitcase, my faith… and a hostel. 😂 But baby, what I thought was an inconvenience ended up being exactly what I needed. I needed the quiet. I needed the alone time. I needed to sit with myself. I needed to remember how far I’ve come. And apparently… I needed to meet the people God placed there too. One conversation in particular reminded me that this thing is SO much bigger than business, followers, money, speaking engagements or building a brand. Sometimes God will put you in a room for ONE person. And while I thought I was pouring into her… she had no idea God was using her to pour right back into me. 🥹 That moment reminded me WHY I keep showing up. Even when I’m tired. Even when life is LIFE-ING. Even when I don’t understand the assignment yet. I prayed for rooms I had never been in. Now I’m learning not to question God when the entrance doesn’t look how I imagined it would. 🙏🏾 And the hostel story still ain’t over… Part 3 coming. 👀 #marthasvineyard ’s #pmhnp

@whitecoatsandcocktails you owe me NOTHING! 🥹 Last Wednesday in the Vineyard was BEAUTIFUL to say the least. I mean being able to be in a room filled with other women who truly lead with authenticity and intentionality in all they do was beautiful to see. The world is extremely lucky to have women like you who are working diligently to be pioneers in the way black and brown people get to experience healthcare as well as paving the way for those who are also looking to change the standard of care. But aside from that, you women are poised, you are forces to be reckoned with, and have hearts that are filled with so much love and pureness and I pray that you all receive a double portion of what you’ve poured into your patients, your community, and your families. Matthew 5:14-16 says “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” You women exemplify these words in its truest form and I’m grateful to say that I am able to be part of a sisterhood that I will cherish for life! You’re stuck with me now 🤞🏾🥂💕

Thank You God 🙏🏽✝️ for guiding and helping me through the last 13 years of my life. Without you, none of this would be possible. I am blessed and grateful to announce I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Cornell University. I will be studying Biological Engineering (pre-med) with a minor in Finance. Thank you to my support system, especially my parents, for continuing to love and push me to succeed. I am excited to join Cornell's athletic community as a Sprint Football player. Special thanks to @coachgneo , @michael_huyghue , @jaden.queen, @charlesnajdr and other players for welcoming me to the Sprint Football family. It is surreal knowing that my attendance to an Ivy League institution is an accomplishment my 91-year old grandmother is able to see, knowing that she grew up in a world where education itself was denied because of the color of her skin. I am extremely blessed to be attending one of the top institutions in the world and to be truly realizing the dream and hope of my ancestors. Excited to see what @christianf4705 does this track season! He came in for better hip strength range of motion and power! He going into track season more explosive than he’s ever gone (his words) Typically I urge people to start early but some are gifted and locked in enough to see tremendous changes in short time! If you haven’t gotten your WorkHard Certification it’s not too late Registration still open until May 1st🗣#deadstoppower #force #track #sprint #fast #speed #linear #ankles #knees #hips
