We’ve spent the last three Mother’s Days at the ball field and I wouldn’t change it for the world. The players wore special jerseys with ‘mom’ on the sleeves, and Kingston added a sweet message to his walk-up song that I got to pick, ha! Squeezed in a lunch, a movie with my Mama, and of course we ended the day with Wiffle Ball. So blessed to have my mom in my life, and soon to be much closer 🏠 Didn’t get to see the other Mom/Gammy in our life, but always thankful for her too 💛

Words can’t express how very proud I am of this kid. He was chosen to represent the state of Arizona at the USSSA All-State National Tournament in Dallas this past week. He has been working his butt off all summer on his mental and physical game, and he SHOWED up! I couldn’t be there, but so thankful for videos from Gammy and Dad! Grateful to all of his coaches that have helped him along the way @headgamesworld @212athlete @all9_baseballaz @az643baseball @480.fitness

I know I’m a few days late, but all the feels this Mother’s Day. Man they grow up fast. Spent the morning on the ball field watching the one who made me a mommy do what he loves. So very thankful for the other two Moms in my life as well. They do so much for our kiddos and thankful they are such a huge part of our village.

Reflecting on our fun summer travels on this last day of summer break. Chicago was an amazing adventure filled with family, sky rises, museums, Cubs, pizza, and the American Girl store! #Chicago2022

When Mom and Dad go out of town, the Grandparents have it handled without question and with big smiles!!!

@kward73 and I are so lucky to have the amazing parents we do, and our kids couldn’t be more blessed to have them as grandparents!

Gammy flew in from Texas, and Nana “gave up” her birthday weekend!

From gymnastics practice, soccer tournament, more gymnastics practices…. Rained out swim meet and baseball game…. water balloon fights, coloring b-day cards and baking cup cakes for Nana!!

And I got home (just) in time to make the birthday lunch for Nana 🎉☺️!

634 days. That’s precisely how many days since we last physically sat in a stadium and raised our chorus of voices for college football. 2020 stole a lot of things. For many, the losses transcended well beyond sports. This weekend however felt good. It filled in some holes. It had been 634 days since we last tailgated. Since we last grilled/smoked meats 🐖 in a parking lot. Since we drank ice cold beer 🍺, also in said parking lot. Since we proudly flew high our flags. A long 634 days since we last saw friends we are used to seeing nearly every other week for three months in the fall as the seasons shift and the trees of our NC mountains put on an autumnal spectacle. Last year a smattering of college games were played but the void was real and most of us never punched/scanned a ticket in person. This weekend confirmed college football is back. @appstate_fb is back. The fans are back. The all too familiar buzz is back. It was on full display all weekend and did not discriminate the size of stadium or program. Maybe college football 🏈 is just what we need to finally unite us again. 😉 This weekend we were fortunate enough to put some of life’s hurdles behind us for a bit in the Hall house and to check off two games…in 48 hours. 634 days left us a lot to make up for! It was our own return to college football…and we can’t wait for next weekend to get here again. #beatmiami It was so great to have @cyndibward and @paulwardaz here for our #queencitytakeover and a great Mountaineer victory to start out the season 1-0 Thursday in Charlotte. We also are so very appreciative of our dear friend Jack Wilson and his amazing generosity in Columbia Saturday night to us and Meredyth’s parents as Paul returned to USC. I checked off two never before done football bucket list items Saturday, sideline of an SEC game and taking in a game from the AD’s box. A wonderful way to reintroduce college football back into the Hall’s fall sports calendar with friends and family. Bring on the season! #goapps #beatecu #gofightwin #tailgate #funbelt #charlotte
