Kia ora, partner! I love Star Wars and will love whatever you make for me so have fun being creative! The mosaics are from the 2024 and 2025 swaps because I still love the quilts (makers tagged) but I am super happy if you want to go in a totally different direction! Honestly, I am really chill and just want you to enjoy making it! 😊

I am excited to participate and see what everyone makes! ❤️

I've also included what I wrote for last two swaps in case you're interested 😊

Howdy partner, here is my mosaic for the #Maythe4thswap2024! I have been a Star Wars fan since I was a kid and have always loved the escapism of George Lucas’ world.

I relate more to the light side than the dark side and have included silhouettes and nature scenes in my mosaic (quilters are all tagged). Quilt wise, I will love whatever you make and want you to have fun making it so be as creative as you want! I haven’t seen any of the new TV shows yet but I will if you make me something from them!

Random Star Wars facts about me:
⭐ I grew up watching the original trilogy alongside the prequels (millenial here ✋)
⭐ I like Jar Jar Binks (somewhat controversial lol)
⭐ My dad built his own Stormtrooper with the vacuum forming technique and used to wear it to community events. He also helped my husband to build a Stormtrooper helmet using pepakura and fibreglass
⭐ When I saw Rebel One in the cinema, I thought it was the seventh movie in the franchise (to follow Return of the Jedi), not an additional prequel to the original trilogy. I spent the first 30 minutes extremely confused and then disappointed it wasn't the seventh film 😂

Excited to be participating in #maythe4thswap2026 hosted by @jekah_a_quilter. I have recycled some inspiration from past years’ mosaics. I like droids, Grogu, Mando, Andor, and Rogue One. I have admired past tattoo style quilts others have made.

I have also included the excellent Star Wars minis I have received in the past in the last 4 images.

Some inspiration for my #maythe4thswap2025 partner. The first slide is from the Tsum Tsum mobile game (I also have all of these ones in plush form). The second slide is artwork from @redbubble. The third slide is some Grogu cuteness. And the last three slides are the wonderful minis I received in previous May the 4th swaps and one Disney swap.

I love the droids, especially IG-11, K-2SO, D-O, B2EMO and R2-D2. My favourite Star Wars movie is Rogue One and my favourite tv shows are The Mandolorian and Andor.

If you are looking for more inspiration you can look at my past swap mosaics #katharinewithanaswapmosaic

I am in awe of all the detail that @cyndiofork put into these droids. And so many great extras as well! Thank you so much Cyndi! I have the card you made me from the 2021 Star Wars swap on my fridge still.

Thank you @jekah_a_quilter for hosting #maythe4thswap2024

May the Fourth to all my fellow swappers.

This year’s #maythe4thswap2024 is being hosted by @jekah_a_quilter and it will be my fifth Star Wars swap.

My favourite characters are the droids, specifically B2EMO, D-O, K-2SO, IG-11 and BB-8, Mando and Grogu. My favourite movies are Rogue One, The Force Awakens and A New Hope.

My mosaic post contains some quilt patterns and other Star Wars inspired art/products. “These aren’t the droids you are looking for” is from Pinterest and the R2-D2 print is from MinimArtprints on Etsy, all other makers tagged. You can see my previous Star Wars mosaics at #katharinewithanaswapmosaic

The last two images are the awesome minis I received in past Star Wars swap and one Disney swap.

Here is my mosaic for the #maythe4thswap2023 Last year there were SO many amazing designs. These were a few of my favorites, as well as a little inspiration for my swap partner. I’m sure I will love whatever you make.

My #maythe4thswap2023 mosaic. As you can see Grogu and Mando are my favourites. I also like the droids and B2EMO is my new favourite (how can one little droid emote so much?!). Holiday mashups are fun too. The last slide are the wonderful minis I received in previous Star Wars/Disney swaps.

My mosaic is inspired by many artists. I do own the Boba Bros pin, Grogu plush pictured, Grogu Boba Time print as a cross stitch pattern (haven’t started it yet), the droid stamps and the Star Wars Tsum Tsum tee. And yes, I do like boba/bubble tea. #katharinewithanaswapmosaic

Partner, here is my #maythe4thswap2022 mosaic. My favourite characters are Grogu, Mando and the Droids and they are featured in quilt form in the first two images. And my partner’s favourite character is Boba Fett. The third image shows other Star Wars inspired crafts that I think are cute (the crocheted Grogu is by yoyarnover on Etsy) and the last two images are the minis I received in this swap in 2021 and 2020. #katharinewithanamoodboard
