A taste of New Mexico in the heart of Austin! 🧫

The NMFO team had an incredible time at the “Albuquerque Aftermath: From Breaking Bad to @plur1bus.tv “ panel at @sxsw ! To celebrate the production’s journey in the Land of Enchantment, we surprised attendees with a special custom yellow smiley-face cookies served in Petri dishes—a direct nod to the iconic imagery of the series. 🙂

Beyond the snacks, it was a privilege to catch up with the panelists and discuss why New Mexico remains the ultimate creative home for world-class storytelling. From the elite crew and cast to our unique landscapes, we’re proud to support the visionaries who choose to build their worlds in our state. 🎬

New Mexico is such an amazing place and I’ve been blessed to know some of the most incredible people here. Leaving here feels like I’m leaving home. Leaving people that I love and have created life long memories with. Leaving a community that has embraced and celebrated me. Leaving a place that has given me everything and asked for nothing in return.

I’m so grateful for the time I’ve gotten to spend here the past couple weeks, they’ve been the most fulfilling weeks of my year so far. I’m so blessed to get to create @bandsofenchantment , it’s crazy to think about how much this opportunity has profoundly changed my life. I just wanna thank everyone involved, you make this such a special experience every year. I love you and I can’t wait to see you all again.

This weekend isn't the easiest one for my sweet little family. That being said, it's been a beautiful few days of sharing memories and making new ones. "The year of firsts" is coming to a close, which feels surreal in its own right. Through all of these tough firsts and hard moments, though, there have been moments of presence, beauty, smiles, tears, and laughter. I so appreciate the family that I was born from, and the family that I gained through love. I'm grateful for the memories that we have, that we continue to speak of and share, and for the memories that we are making. Grief is love with nowhere to go, but I'm glad that we can all share that love with each other. In a way, it's giving it a place to go.
Tonight and tomorrow will be particularly hard, but it's such a comfort to have each other in this time. I'm sending love to the many people I know who are also having a hard time this weekend ❤️ How beautiful it is to be connected through love and memories.

Feeling the healing and promise of Poppy living through us all.

Jana’s best friend since toddlerhood, her mom Cyndy one of my best friends, we are feeling the loss of this bright and talented woman. We embrace.

May 31, we gathered to celebrate Penelope’s 33 years on earth, tastes she loved, her resolve and take no bullshit temperament. Fitting for a chef, we sat down for family meal; we all raised a fork to this phenomenal woman. Everyone had a story to tell of how reliable Poppy could be as a friend, a listener and consoler. All this makes me more aware of how rare life is. The hardest thing is not to be able to feel her flesh in a warm embrace. I’m grateful for the afterimage of her tactile presence. Poppy would want us to live on, be together, celebrate.

Touch each other with your thoughts and actions while you can.

Six months ago today, the world lost Penelope Grace Simons. Last night, we were able to celebrate her life, love, and legacy. Her energy surrounded everyone, enveloping us all in her endless love. Thank you to everyone who attended, shared stories, shed tears, and a raised a fork to @pennyg505 ❤️ It was magical to spend a night together, enjoying the recipes that she loved to make for her family.
We love you, Poppy. Your physical presence was missed tremendously, but your energy was felt by all.
