(📝 @meccanotes ) If you’ve been ticketed by traffic cameras or those infamous New Orleans meter maids. You have from now until Dec. 31st to pay those those tickets without fees.

According to the city’s website: The Mayor’s Office and Department of Finance is offering a late fee forgiveness or “amnesty” program for residents to take advantage of from October 1 until December 31, 2022.

Residents will be allowed, in certain circumstances, to pay fees without late penalties or additional fees when paying for City services. This includes past-due accounts with parking and camera tickets, sales and hotel/motel taxes, code enforcement violations, and library fees. Additionally, the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) will waive certain late fees for eligible residential customers wishing to reduce – and ultimately eliminate – their delinquent SWBNO bills.

About a year and a half ago @j_nicolecollins called me and said she wanted me to help her produce a series dealing with intergenerational trauma between women. It was an easy sell because the concept of “mommy issues” was relatable to me and one we don’t talk about enough. Plus the story being set in Louisiana made it even more personal. ❤️

@maternallyyoursseries is now available to watch on the Black woman owned streaming service @kwelitv which is geared towards independent creators. Please go to www.kweli.tv or download the app, subscribe and watch. They’re currently offering a free 7 day trial! It’s really dope to see this idea come to life. Swipe for the trailer and some BTS. ⏩

Much thanks to @comedianlilrel for being an Executive Producer on this project and trusting me. Thanks to the rest of the cast and crew for being down to just create with us. It was truly the best set I’ve ever been on. And we definitely had the most lit wrap party ever in true Louisiana fashion. 😂🙌🏽
