it’s never too late to post right ? I thought about adding music to this but nothing compares to the crowd, the cheers, the sound of the greatest support system ever. @bricksrunclub @clarendonrunclub @everypersonrunclub (and my lovely friends!)

This is my 2nd Half Marathon. 13.1 miles/21K. I felt more nervous with this one than my first half. Though I’ve been training for months and made progress, I felt worried I wouldn’t PR. ( I DID PR THO 🤪 2:17:04 ) the moment I saw @socialmiler in the last .5 mile I knew I made it.

Also, my mom was there. Growing up she wasn’t able to attend any of my extracurricular games, shows, events bc mama had to work. But on this day, she chose to show up for me, standing for long hours with my friends just to see me run by for a couple seconds and that meant the world to me.

These pictures alone doesn’t capture all the miles I’ve shared with the run community. But seriously, how blessed are we to move and celebrate with friends.

If you’re still reading, thank you for believing in me. I’ll always believe in you too because I want to see you win.
