Dagwood has been putting on a clinic this season in the grouse woods. Between bad luck and suspect shooting, he should have a few more in the bag. I connected on this red phase over a nice long point after botching one earlier in the day.

Torne had to inspect post run.

We got a ton of snow in NY today. But I’m glad me and Stevie girl made it out. I absolutely love being outdoors in the snow and Stevie put a Rooster and Chukar Partridge in the bag. They are both now in the pot for a nice soup to end the day 🪶❄️

It’s sharp. Ragged. Wild in the way wild things are when they know they’ve been found. The cackle of a rooster pheasant isn’t just a call, it’s a challenge. A taunt. A split-second promise that something just broke loose from the edges of the earth and dared you to keep up.

8.5 month old Blitz getting his first wild bird find and retrieve 🔥 It was also @piratelifebbq first wild bird 💪🏻 A moment I don't think either of them will forget!

Blitz is out of our VC Table Rock Ogilthorpe UT-1, MH X Table Rock Dunking Donuts NA-3 (Ogie X Glaze) litter that whelped in January 👊🏻
