🇩🇪 3 Weeks in America… What’s It Really Like? 🇺🇸

On this episode of Between Worlds with Douglas, I sat down with Liam, an international student and college athlete from Germany, to talk about his first three weeks in the U.S.

We talked about his first impressions of America, the cultural differences he has already noticed, adjusting to a new environment, and what surprised him about the U.S. college system. 🎓⚽️

It’s one thing to hear about America from other people. It’s different when you finally get here and experience it yourself.

🎙️ New episode out now!

What was the biggest culture shock you experienced when you first moved to another country? 👇🏾

WHAT NOW? 🌍⚽️

From Niger 🇳🇪 to Germany 🇩🇪, the United States 🇺🇸, Morocco 🇲🇦 and now Poland 🇵🇱 — Abraham “Abe” has lived through a journey full of transitions, injuries, setbacks, and unexpected opportunities.

In this episode of Between Two Worlds, we talk about college soccer, being an international student-athlete, dealing with a four-year injury, finding your identity beyond sports, adapting to new cultures, and figuring out what comes next when life doesn’t go according to plan.

One message stood out:

You can’t change what happened before. You can only focus on what’s next.

A real conversation about adversity, growth, identity, soccer, and life after college.
