after a short break reporting back to council, stock take and some rest - we’ll announce upcoming zine fairs, begin enquiring for screenprinting events 👀, mail our stickers preorders and continue research for the next translated resource drop.

we have our eyes peeled for any future funding and collaborations so don’t hesitate to reach out or share opportunities ⭐️

So proud of @taniaburkettartist and her beautiful show at @studio551_newtown late last month! Was such a beautiful lively night for the launch, surrounded by years and years of friends and family 💟

The crescendo of seasons is here and issue 14 has miraculously, spectacularly and dutifully arrived!! This season, while a little rushed, brings you CanopyFest 2025, Relic Plastic, Going For a Walk 02, photography of small things, watercolour illustrations & a daily dog walking collage practice that delights me endlessly.

In this issue:
@inkblatt, co-founder of @relicplastic
@annakochetkova
@tay.does.design
@samibayly
@dogwalkdiarynyc
Aaron Gray & Mitchell Parker from @suthshirecncl
@d.ajredin on the cover
& @medievalapples on the back cover comic

I wrote this in the rushed Letter From the Editor, but with a wedding, a funeral, a comic convention, 2 zine fairs and a workshop at an apple festival all crammed into the last 3 months this issue of Budlife was put together on the hopes, dreams and good faith of some old friends, some new ones, and some random people who hear about what I'm doing with Budlife and say, "oh you might find this interesting", and I do. My apologies if there's a handful of typos in this one, sometimes life really do just be like that.

Contributor and subscriber copies will be sent out tomorrow, and issue 14 is now live on the website! If you'd like to join our first in liners you can either subscribe via budlifemagazine.com, or contribute to future issues :) DM us your ideas!

Chat soon you guys!!
