On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, Georgia will be having a run-off election.

Social Change is organizing and mobilizing volunteers to help more of our neighbors in Georgia have the information and support necessary to cast their vote and have it counted (our goal is to touch 30,000+ people) and we can’t do it without you.

3 ways to help:
1 - volunteer virtually or in-person *DM us your interest and availability to do either
2 - share this and encourage others to support + spread the word *just press share and tell folks to do the same
3- click the link in our bio to donate to this fundraiser to support this critical work

Specifically, your support will provide the resources and tools for women, men and youth from near and far to ensure 30,000+ Georgians know:
- There is a run-off,
- When to vote,
- Where to vote,
- Of any voting relating resources; and

For centuries now, in America, Black men are and have been victims of negative social and media bias. These perceptions have primarily thrived on, stereotypes, implicit and unconscious bias. These biases have grossly endangered Black men’s ability to live a life free of pervasive and persisting prejudice. However, 2022 could mark a paradigm shift for Black men. Over a year ago, just before the pandemic hit, I got an opportunity to be in an documentary titled “What About Me” (@whataboutmedocumentary), a documentary sharing stories of Black men and boys who get a chance to share their unique paths that doesn’t always involve being an entertainer or athlete, or worse a criminal.

And now, it’s been submitted for a @naacp Image Award.

Telling and sharing the stories of Black men and boys are vital in illustrating just how dynamic they are and can be.

In the @whataboutmedocumentary, Executive Producers @taroue, @d.john_jackson and @darrylpittsworld had a collective vision to share these stories, because in their experiences as Black men there is so much more to being such than just being an athlete or entertainer.

Our CIO @cirilomanego3 is also featured in this documentary.

The documentary has been submitted and accepted. It moves on the the nomination phase.
