Ben surprised us with a visit home from Trey 🥹

Andrew ventured home after a Buckeye win — which meant ALL my kiddos were together. 🥹❤️ And the sweetest part! Watching them meet their nephew, Silas, for the very first time. 👶🏼💙

Having all my kiddos together, watching them love on each other and now watching them love on the newest little addition to our family… my mama heart is SO full.

These are the moments I wish I could bottle up forever. ❤️
Feeling incredibly Grateful for my family. 🥰

There are moments in life you dream about as a parent, and today was one of them. For years I’ve always wanted to run — or at least be part of — a marathon experience with my boys. Today, we did exactly that. ❤️

I chose to run the half marathon so I could be there to watch them finish the full 26.2 miles, and I can honestly say there are no words for the joy, pride, and emotion that comes with seeing your children push through agony, discomfort, pain, struggle, uncertainty… you have experienced and still accomplish something so incredible 🥹

The heat and sun were relentless from start to finish. No one expected conditions like that, and every mile became its own mental battle. That’s what makes races like this so powerful — every mile is unknown. Your body changes, your mind plays games with you, and sometimes the outcome isn’t what you hoped for. But finishing? Completing 26.2 miles? That is simply incredible ☺️

I was also lucky enough to share my half marathon journey with my best friend, whose encouragement kept me moving when I wanted to stop. Having someone beside you reminding you not to give up makes all the difference🥰

And as a mom, getting to stand there and cheer not only for my boys, but also for so many of Trey’s college friends crossing that finish line, made the day even more special. Watching all of them dig deep and accomplish something so difficult was inspiring beyond words 😊

As their mother, I couldn’t be more proud — and even more grateful to share an experience that not many get to have together. Today was about more than miles. It was about perseverance, grit, friendship, family, and proving to yourself that you can do hard things. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️☀️❤️

Caps off to an unforgettable chapter 🎓

This weekend we celebrate not just a graduation, but years of hard work, late nights(studying of course), challenges, growth, and discovery. College has been more than classes and exams—it’s been friendships, memories, lessons learned, and dreams taking shape.

But something people don’t talk about enough… is what it feels like as a parent when your child graduates from college. The pride is overwhelming, but so is the emotion. You’re reliving every step that led here—the first day of school, the sacrifices, the growth, the moments you hold on tight to and the ones where you had to let go.

It’s joy, it’s gratitude, it’s a little bit of “where did the time go?” all wrapped into one. 🥺

So incredibly proud of this milestone for Trey and everything it represents. The future is wide open, and this is just the beginning. Athens & Ohio University is a place we will cherish forever! 💚🐾
