With @timetodrivefest just weeks away, @officialcptime approaching 9K followers organically, and our upcoming Jaeger-LeCoultre pre-event, I want to highlight three brothers in healthcare who inspire me far beyond their watch collections. @black_olive911 — A brother who brings a smile to everyone around him. His collection is HEAVY, but it doesn’t compare to his brilliance as an oral surgeon or, more importantly, the father he is to two incredible young soccer athletes. His energy is contagious. @drcharlesboyd — One of the first brothers to join our club and someone who inspires me in work and play. He’s your favorite doctor’s favorite doctor! His drive pushes me to work harder and enjoy life more. Above all, he’s a true family man with five beautiful daughters who are all thriving. That’s real success. @dnadoc53 — One of the most thoughtful and measured people I know. I value our conversations about balancing work, family, and watches. His relationship with his boys reminds me of mine with my son: close, intentional, teaching the value of hard work while allowing them to find their own paths. He knows how to remind you that you’re doing well while offering a fresh perspective that helps you grow. What I admire most about these brothers is the order of their priorities: Family. Work. Watches. In a hobby where it’s easy to focus on what someone owns, these men remind me that what matters most is who you are, the lives you touch, and the family you build. The Michigan Sport Business Conference is thrilled to announce our emcee, Dhani Jones! Dhani Jones is chairman of investment firm Qey Capital and advisor at Stand Together. Dhani was drafted in 2000 by the New York Giants and later played with the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals. He retired in 2011 from the NFL and later published a travelogue/memoir, The Sportsman: Unexpected Lessons from an Around the World Sports Odyssey. The book recapped his rise to NFL fame, as well as his time as host of Travel Channel's original series, Dhani Tackles the Globe. Jones has hosted shows on NBC, FOX, ESPN2, and Spike TV, as well as been an investor on CNBC's Adventure Capitalists and Entrepreneur Magazine's Elevator Pitch. He is a board member of Outside Interactive and serves on the Board of Advisors of Washington Nationals Philanthropies. Dhani is a Fellow of the second class of the Civil Society Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. At his core, Dhani is a master facilitator and team builder - bringing together diverse people, perspectives, and disciplines to create trust, align around a shared purpose, and move ideas into action.
