Part 3 of 3
Everyone who came to the RSL Open Runs came ready to PLAY! 🏀🔥

But we wanted to give some recognition to these guys who stood out by doing the little things that often go unnoticed.

Some showed us how much their game has improved. Others impressed us with their effort, defense, hustle, communication, unselfishness, and willingness to care about the things that don’t always show up on a stat sheet.

That stuff matters. We notice it. Coaches notice it. 💯

S/O to my wife for sharing this special moment from Mel’s conferences! ❤️🙏🏾

Sports are just a tool that helps us in life. The real goal is building character, faith, and leadership. Knowing Mel was once the kid being picked on or talked about, it means everything to see and hear about him now uplifting and encouraging his peers on his own.

We pour into him to be more than an athlete. A true leader and child of God! That’s the real WIN!

Thank You, Lord! 🙏🏾❤️

Been getting work in whenever we can during football season! Had to get one more session in before we hit the road for Coast to Coast! 🏀💪🏾

I love training my team, but there’s something different about being in an empty gym with Lil Mel. Learning to balance being his father, coach, and trainer definitely comes with challenges, but we’re growing through it together.

These moments are bigger than basketball! We signed a contract, and WORD IS WORD! 🤝🏾

All glory to the Lord! 🙏🏾❤️

RSL OPEN RUN SPOTLIGHT 🌟🏀

@d1._jam3l | Class of 2032

Jamel impressed the coaches with his ability to impact both ends of the floor! 👀🔥

His combination of length, athleticism, and motor stood out throughout the open run. Whether it was defending multiple positions, getting out in transition, attacking the basket, or making plays for others, he found different ways to make his presence felt.

The biggest takeaway? He competed. Jamel played with energy on both ends and looked very good against a talented group of players.

Definitely a 2032 prospect to keep watching! 📈

MEET JAMEL LEBRANCH JR.

Class of 2032 | 6’2” | Guard

Jamel continues to grow not only in his skill set, but in his understanding of the game. He’s learning how to impact winning in different ways and becoming more comfortable using his size and versatility on both ends of the floor.

Defensively, Jamel has the ability to guard multi positions.

One of the biggest areas of focus right now is his perimeter shooting. As he becomes a more consistent threat from outside, it will open up another level of his game and make his size and versatility at the guard position even more valuable.

Looking forward to watching Jamel continue to grow and compete with Alliance Basketball on the Jr. 3SSB circuit this spring and summer! 🏀💪🏾
