GUÁRDALO PARA TU PRÓXIMO VIAJE 🇭🇷

♥️ KAVA 2

♥️ CORTO MALTESE
Tienen una carta muy variada. Yo probé el arroz Smoke on the Water y me pareció espectacular.

♥️ PUFFY LIL PANCAKES

♥️ TINEL TRATTORIA
Muy lindo ambiente. Pedí el risotto vegetariano y me sorprendió muchísimo.

♥️ STOW COFFEE

Day XI - Island Life is Good in Croatia
The theme of Day 11 is simply... A great day in Croatia.
☕️🥐 After enjoying the Adraitic view from our balcony, Kels was sweet enough to curb my craving for another Italian breakfast @d16coffee . Thanks babe!
🏰 Now that I’ve got some caffeine in the system we could take a stroll to check out #diocletianspalace. Yep, a literal palace right in the middle of #splitoldtown. The story is that Diocletian was the only Roman emperor to ever retire. And his choice of places to retire turned out to be Split, Croatia. He nailed retirement, in my opinion.
🥞 I know we already had an Italian breakfast, but what about second breakfast? We had a great second breakfast @feel_green_split . Kelsey went savory and Sam went sweet. It was all vegan and all delicious.
🏖️ Pack your swim bag, because we’ve got a @jadrolinija ferry to catch. Where to? To the Island of #brač (pronounced brach - rhymes with watch).
☀️ Island life is THE way to do it in Croatia. Smaller crowds and even bluer water. We found a fantastic spot to post up at beach #trimostabeach for the afternoon. (And it was a third of the price it was in Split 🤫) @beachbarnautilius
💆‍♀️🍺 AND we even found time for some therapy. Kelsey was able to book a 30 minute massage. And Sam’s therapy was drinking a #karlovačko (Kahr-loh-VAHCH-koh) on the beach. It was a win-win!
🐟After we caught enough rays and had enough therapy for the day, we had to eat! Kels was wanting some tuna and that’s exactly what we found @restoranamadeus
🍨 We watched the sunset and caught our ferry back to Split. And wouldn’t ya know? We found some gelato! Not pictured because, well, we were probably just too focused on the gelato @aromagelatoexperience
⚽️ I failed to mention earlier that there was not only a Summer festival happening in Split at this very time, but there was also a HUGE @hnkhajduk football (soccer) match the people were all fired up for. It made for great entertainment on our walk back to our Airbnb.
And THAT, my friends, is how you have a great day in Croatia.

Croatia was powered almost exclusively by gelato, burek, wine, and coffee 🍨🥐🍷☕️

Here were my absolute favorites:
🍨 Gelato: Peppino’s (DBV)
🥐 Burek: Holy Burek (DBV)
🍷 Winery: Sabulum (Korcula)
☕ Coffee: Kantun (Hvar)
🍹 Bar: Hula Hula (Hvar)
🍝 Restaurant: Anona (Split)
