Sunday Recovery Day / Nutrition Lecture:
- Hip Mobility
- Foot / Ankle Strengthening
- Balance

Athletes need to train their hips and flexibility because it significantly improves their athletic performance by allowing for a greater range of motion, enabling efficient movements like running, jumping, and changing direction quickly, while also reducing the risk of injuries by preventing muscle imbalances and compensations in other body areas. Essentially, good hip mobility is crucial for powerful and controlled movements in most sports.

- Key points about hip and flexibility training for athletes:

-Improved movement quality:
•Flexible hips allow for smoother transitions between movements, enhancing athletic performance across various sports.

-Reduced injury risk:
•Tight hips can lead to strain on other muscle groups, increasing the likelihood of injuries; proper hip mobility helps prevent this.

-Enhanced power generation:
•Strong and mobile hips contribute to explosive movements like sprinting and jumping.

-Better posture:
•Hip flexibility helps maintain proper alignment throughout the body, improving posture and reducing strain on the lower back.
