i don’t think i could ever put into words how much this experience has changed me. thank you to @iamkevinramsey and @christopher.rowee for taking a chance on me as Alice. @melanie.kaplan i am so honored to have shared this role with you, you have taught me so much and i could not thank you enough my sweet sweet girl. i love this cast to the moon and back. i am so grateful that this is my last Hartt main stage, it means so much to me🩷 Thank you Alice Fletcher!

I remember being skeptical to audition, hesitant to come in as a sophomore, not wanting to disrupt my routine, and afraid of what might change. But the moment I stepped into the school, something changed. I walked back to the car afterward and told my mom, “This is where I want to go.”

Since that moment, my time here has been anything but simple. There have been highs that felt surreal, moments where I felt completely seen, completely in my element, doing what I love alongside people who understood me. And there have also been lows, times of doubt, exhaustion, and growth that didn’t feel like growth at the time. Moments where I questioned myself, felt out of place, or had to learn difficult lessons in ways I didn’t expect. And still, even then, there were people who reminded me why I stayed.

Through all of it, one thing has remained constant: I have never once doubted that this is where I was meant to be in this chapter of my life. Leaving is bittersweet. It’s hard to step away from a place that has given me so much and from the people who made it what it was, the ones who saw me in ways I didn’t always see myself.

But the main thing Booker T has done for me is prepared me for my next stage of life. And I know that once I am there I’ll have a a place I can look back on that feels like home, and people I can reach for when I need to be reminded of that.

Semester Recap - (2/8)

MT’29 Cabaret, Little Women, Paradise, and Infrared (short film written and directed by me).

This semester was all about pushing myself to explore more opportunities, and getting over the fear of imperfection! I’m super excited to return for sophomore year :) thanks now and always for any time or advice everyone at the university has shown me. See you soooon
