Big shoutout to creative artist and musician @kelsearobin 🎻🔥 Kelsea Robin describes herself as a “violinist, songwriter and melodramatic sad girl” and her vibes were the perfect medicine for closing out our magickal ecstatic dance with a crescendo and decrescendo that was really felt 🎭 Thanks @kelsearobin for sharing your medicine! 🎶 And for everyone in Phoenix, give yourself the opportunity to experience a collective healing dance, somatic journey, mind-body liberation, radical acceptance & authentic self expression 💃🏻🐦‍🔥 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍 WHEN: Every First Friday WHAT: Ecstatic Dance & Somatic Journey WHERE: @lacunaphoenix 📍 914 N 5th St, Phoenix, AZ ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍 Join HSF heart-centered facilitators for this First Friday Ecstatic Dance at Lacuna Phoenix. Ecstatic dance is a form of freeform movement and dance that encourages participants to express themselves freely, without judgment, and to connect deeply with their bodies, emotions, and the music. It’s a practice that often incorporates elements of mindfulness, spirituality, and community connection, allowing individuals to explore movement as a form of release, healing, and self-discovery. The Musical Journey in Ecstatic Dance is carefully curated to guide participants through a transformative experience, both physically & emotionally. It starts with soft, grounding sounds to help participants arrive and connect with their bodies. The music then builds in intensity, encouraging exploration and free expression, leading to a powerful crescendo where emotions and energy peak. Following the climax, the music gradually softens, guiding dancers back to a calm, centered state for integration and closure. This arc allows for a deep, transformative experience through movement.
