DeNai Jones Ceramics is a working artist studio and gallery in the heart of Downtown Ventura. The space offers an intimate look into the creative process, featuring original work by California artist DeNai Jones, a ceramicist and painter whose practice explores the female figure, memory, identity, connection, and place. Visitors will experience a collection of figurative paintings, ceramic sculpture, functional ceramics, and mixed-media work, all created with an emphasis on material, process, and the quiet transformation that occurs through the act of creating.
Exhibit
During ArtWalk weekend, DeNai Jones Ceramics will open its doors for visitors to experience the studio as an active, working creative space. Guests are invited to meet artist DeNai Jones, explore works in progress, view limited live demonstrations in ceramics and painting throughout the weekend, and learn more about the materials and processes behind her work.

The studio will also offer opportunities for visitors to experience the joy of making firsthand. ArtWalk weekend is a chance to slow down and experience the process behind the finished work in an intimate studio setting.

Nearly seven years later and it still feels like a pinch me moment knowing I have a shop in the town I love so dearly. A shop filled with thoughtful wares from friends and neighbors, community artists, small businesses across varying states and a space that shares the dreams of others ✨ Proud to be here in @downtownventura and even more grateful for the community support that keeps these doors open year after year 🫶🏻

Summer is here and that means picnic season is in full swing!

We’ve stocked the shop with a few of our favorite picnic essentials. From locally crafted charcuterie boards and cookbooks to handmade food carriers and pantry staples made right here on the Central Coast. Whether you’re headed to the beach, the park, or your own backyard, we’ve got plenty of sweet touches to elevate your outdoor gathering.

Looking for the perfect spot to spread out a blanket? Here are a few of our favorite local picnic destinations:

• Atop the Ventura Botanical Gardens near the Australian Garden, you’ll find a beautiful hidden nook that’s perfect for a sunset picnic. @vbgventura

• Just up the road, Grant Park is another favorite, offering gorgeous views overlooking the city and coastline.

• Emma Wood State Beach or Solimar Beach are perfect for a beachside picnic. Just keep an eye on the seagulls. 🤪

• The @venturaharbor is always a fun one. If you’re with your littles check out the Channel Islands Visitor Center for a fun mini aquarium experience and then head over to the green field for a picnic beside the boats.

• And these days, we’re big fans of picnics at the playground. Our family favorites include Kellogg Park, Arroyo Verde Park, and Marina Park.

Happy picnicking! ❤️🧺✨

Our Spring Fair is just around the corner, and we’ve been working nonstop to create a beautiful, inspiring, and magical experience for our community. Months of planning go into each Fair while simultaneously running our shops, @findingsmarket and @findingsflea, and preparing the stores for one of our favorite weekends of the year.

Each Fair season, we thoughtfully gather a unique mix of products to share inside the Findings Market shop — introducing new artists and makers alongside some of our longtime favorites. This year is no different, and we’ve been working around the clock to fill the shop with beautiful pieces for the weekend ahead.

While you’re out enjoying the Fair, we’d love to invite you into the store to experience the makers and creatives that make up Findings Market. Our shelves are filled with local artisans, independent brands, and one-of-a-kind wares — handmade, thoughtfully produced, and created with so much care. Every detail of our curation is intentional, and we hope you feel the love behind it all.

We’re also proud to partner with @shopdusk and to have their candle bar and custom candle making experience inside the shop every day we’re open. Swing by and create your own custom candle with us, it’s such a special, one-of-a-kind experience.

And this Saturday, we’ll also be hosting cocktail tastings with @venturaspirits and wine tastings with @nativebloomwinery inside the store throughout the Fair.

Come wander through, discover something special, and experience all that Findings Market has to offer 🌷

And for our vintage lovers, don’t forget to pop by our 5000 sq ft vintage heaven featuring over 30 curators ~ @findingsflea • 230 E. Main St. (2 blocks down the road) ✨
