🇫🇷 French championships 🇫🇷

A brief look back at the French Championships that took place two weeks ago in Libourne. 📍🇫🇷

It was an intense week of competition 🥵 that followed immediately after the European Championships 🇪🇺, with no break in between.

A significant amount of fatigue set in, compounded by food poisoning. 🤒

It was a tough week for me, but despite all that, I am pleased with my performance at the French Championships.

I was able to successfully apply the techniques I worked on with @jmf_prepamental 💭, which allowed me to achieve decent results despite all the challenges. 🏅

After the French Championships, 🇫🇷 all that remains for me is the World Championships 🌍 following a week of rest. 😴
It will take place in Portugal, in Montemor-o-Velho. 🇵🇹

Thanks a lot to all my partners 🙏🏻

A brief look back at the selections for the French Championships in the 500m, which took place in Vichy last weekend.

Still not in top form for this selection weekend, but after a somewhat quieter week, I feel my form starting to return, and it’s coming at just the right time.

It’s perfect timing because the big departure for the first international race of the year is this Monday. I’m heading to Bratislava with the French team to show what we’re capable of on the international stage.

I will be competing in:
- K1 5000
- K2 500 and 1000 with @mahe_duron
- K4 500 with @mahe_duron @orlan_coattrieux and @teliolepetit

Watch until the end 😅🙈

🥇 French Champion K2 5000m
🍫 4th K1 5000m

A look back at the French 5000m Championships that took place last weekend on Lac des Vieilles Forges in the Ardennes.

It wasn’t necessarily the most important race given its proximity to the French sprint team selections, which are 10 days later. However, it was still an opportunity to have fun and catch up with friends.

In K2, I had a great race with my friend @d_oriankayak , whom I congratulate, by the way, on his first medal in the French Championships 🥳.

In K1, it’s a different story... I had energy, but I made a strategic mistake right from the start and then got hindered several times in the turns and even in the wave catches... that’s the game and it’s part of this discipline. A bit disappointed but focused on what’s next.
