The love I felt across these three days will stay with me forever. Lost in the music, surrounded by beautiful souls, I was reminded that the best connections don’t always need words.

Anyone else have imposter syndrome fears in climbing? The tension board was a big one for me. I used to feel like I couldn’t use the board because I wasn’t strong enough or I was embarrassed. As I’ve gotten stronger, it became less intimidating but I wish I felt the same when I was newer at climbing.

During this session, a guy came up to me at the gym and was telling me how he saw me on the board and gave me a compliment on how strong I was. We were chatting for a bit, he said he was a newer climber but didn’t feel strong enough for the board. And my immediate thought was wow I bet there’s a lot of climbers out there that think of the board like I did so I tried to encourage him to get on there and just try a V1!

Moral of the story, if you’re newer and have wanted to try the board; get out there! And if you ever need a board buddy in Denver let me know 🫶🏼 and thanks @d_woodyy for jumping in and making this a fun session!

✨RMNP magic. If you’re part of RMNP summer camp, you know. A feeling of deep wholeness, learning, digging deep, WOOP, and raucous rounds of 20 questions. These are the moments I’ll never forget. Sends are just the icing on the cake, including some of my favorite summits Eternia and Real Large, watching Liam send absolutely everything including White Noise, The Phoenix, Aslan. Noah destroying Top Notch. Kai showing up with all the support and fun despite some tough injuries.
✨ Friendship magic, including Ariel’s bachelorette, tubing the Vrain, spike ball and blitz ball fun, baseball games (I’m in my Red Sox era and ilysm Cedanne), HORSE, porch hangs.
✨Family magic. So fun to have our families visit as Liam and I moved into our enchanted witch cottage (ambient scene not included).
