Pretending like no time at all has passed! Second half of 2025 hehe

July
- Bethany came from the UK and stayed with me for a week!

- My sister and I surprised her kids to a Disneyland Day! I hadn’t been in forrever!

August wedding in San Francisco and reconnecting with college buds!

Obviously my trip to Tanzania that I will never stop talking about 🥹 we didn’t have time to hike to the peak, but had a great day hike on Kilimanjaro. Lots of laughing, lots of singing, and accidental matching.

We stayed at the coolest places! Top-tier

Quick stop in Istanbul on our way home. Met up with friends who happen to be there too!

Unfortunately, my papa suffered a serious episode shortly after my return. It was a difficult fall of back and forth between Canada and California. Great to be with family but my sweet papa ended up passing.

Hosted a pumpkin painting party!

Stargazing and nighttime picnic under the stars with friends in the national park

A fall season filled with lots of my nephew’s soccer games and niece’s volleyball games.

- Thanksgiving piñata and birthday sweater with best friends!

A very emotional service honoring my papa in Canada. Missed my dad being there terribly.

December
- themed night out with my sister to see the second Wicked movie

- made the most of my first Christmas orphaned! Hosted a pink (DUH) party where we celebrated our wins and joys from the year!

Ok well maybe I’ll post again this year, but also maybe not.

And of course, 365 days (minus when I was traveling and someone else did it) of walking my boy 🩷

It’s pretty cool when your friends are the kind of people whose love makes everything brighter and you get to spend a whole weekend surrounded by the amazing community they built. @dazewithdemi and @jaxauspdx wedding was truly unforgettable from the patio drinks to pool parties, cigar club to dance floor, from drag queens to ice cream, from karaoke bar to baseball game….and everywhere in between! I feel so lucky to celebrate LOVE.

ok to be earnest (and hyper-local) on main for a min, @theformat’s music is a huuuuge piece of nearly every former weird teenager from the valley’s brain chemistry. seeing them play live on saturday with 10,000 other people who share such a deeply personal connection was special in a way i don’t have words for. we love you @sammeans @nateruess 🥲💕!!!
