For those who may not know, starting January 2022, I joined the ICON Collective. ICON was an experience I will never forget, arguably one of the best years of my life and a big year for my music and my growth as a person. As of May 29, ICON has officially closed its doors. To say that I am devastated is an understatement. ICON became my second home, my hangout spot and a place where I could be free in my creativity. Whether I’m just in the studios for the day or talking to friends and staff in the dining area, ICON was always the place to be, and is always somewhere i wanted to go back to even when I moved back to San Diego. I will always cherish the memories and my time spent, and carry on the lessons I learned from all who stepped foot in its doors.

Just a quick shoutout to some of the most amazing and talented people I had the pleasure of meeting. I can’t list everyone but I will name a few that have helped made this school memorable

@casualdialect you were one of first staff I spoke to, interviewed me and got me into ICON. I wouldn’t be where I am now if you had decided otherwise. I am forever grateful for you!

@therealcourtneyknott you were my first mentor at ICON, every class, every session with you was amazing! Coming in I was shy, fresh out of high school in a new city and that first mentor session with you really helped me get out of my comfort zone and I knew this was the place to be. You always pushed me creatively and brought an energy that no one else can replicate. I’ll miss your michael rants in classes.

@hyperlightsound you were one of the many friends I met, you were there when I was at one of my lowest times and there for the best. Although we are far and don’t talk much lately, i’ll always cherish those memories with you!

@_issabelamarie we met when I was at my last quarter but you were super talented coming in and I knew we would be great friends. Super glad to have gotten to know you and collaborated on both of our musics. Forever grateful to have known you!

This Thursdays we’re calling everyone to come out and mingle with likeminded industry professionals: everything from, new and wanting to be apart of something in our scene, connecting with knowledgeable professionals and/or dance the night away.

We’ll be hosting a Q&A w/ @safecircleshr & @blizeepov , if you’re shy to ask a question on the mic, there’s a forum linked in our bio to submit questions!

And of course, the open deck lineup is stacked with amazing up and coming DJ’s and producers, check the tags to see who’s going to be joining us 👀
Promoters, these are the perfect events to come and scout artists for your future endeavors!

We will be splitting 100% of ticket sales to donate to Good Looks Foundation and My Sisters Place, we’re also including a donation drive so swipe to the next slide to get some ideas of what to bring!
