A few life BTS moment + my theory that humans are bionic:

The main purpose of allllll of these photos/ posts like this are as a little memory bank, right?

To anyone viewing these pics, it’s just vibes

But to the person who creates it, when they see that photo, it prompts them to remember the context of everything to do with the photo

To relive the moment in a WAY richer way than we could ever do before we had photos, which is sick

From where you were, what you were up to, who were you with etc etc

Like try remember what do you did last week vs remembering what you did and all the little details scrolling our camera roll

BUT, my theory

Our memory is now partially stored on computers/ online, which kiiiind of means we are bionic already without even realising

Thank you so much to @grandcentralatelier and The Hotchkiss School for an amazing experience at the Hudson River Fellowship this summer. It’s inspiring and humbling to get to draw and paint outside all day everyday with incredible artists from around the world, rain sun or bear.

Everyone’s love of painting and nature is infectious and I’m very grateful to have met all the fellows and to get to be a part of it and learn from everyone. Excited to see what everyone makes for the show in NYC in November and to keep painting together
