May 17th is when I bought Norma, it's been 1 month and 3 days 🎶 *since the living room, I realized it's all my fault but couldn't tell you* (Barenaked Ladies)🎶 Little did I know I'd be naming my first van, ever, after her previous owners. But I did. They stole my heart. (Couple posts back is the story on finding the VW + the couple I got it from.) It just made complete sense because while I was having a few things worked on the van (shortly after getting it) I missed it. And missing it made me want to name it. And I missed the owners just as much!!! So it all just tied together. Simple as simple gets. Just like I like it. PRETTY PEOPLE, my favorite thing so far in my vanlife journey has been showing people Norma. I guess because she represents my dreams coming to life... and it's just the beginning of all these vibes. And I want everyone to live out their ideas/projects/dreams that they have ever imagined. Norma, excites people y'all. And that makes me so happy. When my friends and family step into her; I see a glow from their faces, through their smiles. And maybe that's just my eyes glowing for them.. but I hope they ARE VISUALIZING their biggest dreams in that very moment, coming true: soon. I just kept visualizing this. And it happened. I get so so so many reactions when people glance our way. And I'll have to do another post about that all on itself!!! (The questions I get are hilarious but real + deserves a post on it's own.) So this post is just to show the some of lover humans, that have been near to share the huge excitement for an anomalous decision to do life with Norma. I love you tons, glow people, ya friiickin glow, thanks for being supportive. Basically... Do what you've been wanting to do!!! All. Of.
