MAKEEEE SOME NOIISEEEEEE ITS THE QUEEN DAY.
I understand the true meaning of loyalty because of you. I’ve never seen you switch up on the people you love—when you’re for someone, you’re truly for them. You’re honest, you look out for others, and you give even when you don’t have it to give. I learned that from you.

I am a nurturer because of you. As far back as I can remember, our home was always full—there were always kids around—and you carried it all with such ease, as if it was just one. I watched you love, serve, and care for people who may have not even deserved your time with such grace. You didn’t just take care of us, your children—you took care of your nieces, nephews, grown adults, and their children too. You just cared, deeply and consistently.

I also understand now that you carried so much as a child, and because of that, you wanted something different for all of us. You made sure we never lacked anything. Because of you, I can walk into any room, any space, at any time and be just fine. That strength—that’s because of how you raised me.

I used to think you were hard on me, but now at 26—with two degrees, a career, traveling, active in church, NO KIDS, and building my life—I understand. You were shaping me. You were preparing me. And I’m so grateful.

I am blessed. I adore you. I am who I am because of you.

Happy Birthday, Mommy. I love you so much.

Baby, I love her down!! Happy birthday to oldest of my sisters. My sister is the actual image of a BOSS! In so many ways, I strive to be at least half of who you are. Girl, you got it going on and I love every moment of it. You can't be fw on any level. Your light shines everywhere you go. Thank you for all of the things that you do for us outside of the public eye, especially with helping me start up @thekuntriekutiekowgirlkloset I'll forever be grateful for that. 🫶🏾 I love you so much, @dacoldestone 🥹

This was my night! I may look a mess, but my mommmmmy came to the reunion tour in Memphis last night, and it did my heart so well! Y’all see why i stay fresh? This lady made the hat and socks.

I’m blessed beyond measure. Walking and growing behind these women, I can’t be anything less than great. Each of them are rare. I’m so honored to be trusted in this space with such a rare gem and servant of God. I wouldn’t choose anyone else.

This is a 3 part answer….

I’ll never forget the day (about 7 months ago) I woke up and could NOT lift my shoulder. I was in SOOO much pain. I started going to drs. I did several xrays and scans to see if I tore something. I went straight to WEBMD and self diagnosed myself with all kinds of illnesses. I cried and prayed almost every night wondering is this IT? Am I done? I couldn’t do a proper hair cut. SewIn installs were a struggle for me trying to stitch and pull. Shampooing was HELL. I literally went into a state of depression.

My whole body started to break down especially my hands, back, and knees. Big Fear for a stylist. My hands are my money makers.

I went into survial mode.

My client and FRIEND @dacoldestone (Heavy on the FRIEND) booked a SUNDAY appointment. She is probably the only person I’ll come in on a Sunday for. But that appointment is THE SOLE reason why the school is open today. She sparked the fire in me. She makes everything seem so easy to do. In that 3 hour appt, we found @millionairebarber looked at a few videos. Went to his website. Booked a consultation appt.

I have tears as a type this…because she said “Paulette I believe in you and if you rocking, I’m rolling”. This woman paid for my application to be processed not knowing if I’ll go thru with it. Talk about Support! That’s just one of many things she has done. I call her the GOAT.

I said all that to say @hair.mayor.cosmetology.college was birth thru PAIN. Pure pain but journey has been surprising smooth being in @millionairebarber program. I now can breath knowing that I have created a legacy for my children.

HAIR STYLIST, BARBERS, ESTHETICIANS, & NAIL TECHS take care of your body. Self care is so important to me.

because of you I know what love and loyalty looks like. I’ve watched you take care of so many and take so much with such grace and ease, it blows my mind. Your relationship with God and how you choose to treat people has stuck with me since I was a little girl and it is why I strive to love people and treat people with the love and kindness i do. Youre often silent and out of the way but your calmness and security shows so much strength. Because of you, I can go anywhere, at any point in life and strive. You’ve taught me the way and because of that I’d survive. Because of you I can walk into a room blindfolded and ima gravitate to what’s not only fly, but what costs a lot of money!😂😂 I can probably tell a person what kind of bill in they hand without lookin too 😂😂 nah nah..
You’re so wise and you’re ALWAYS right about people and situations.. it’s a blessing to have come from such an amazing spirit.

You are the definition of “if I want it I got it..” Because of you, I know that if I want anything in life and want it to mean something I have to work hard and earn it. I used to think you were so hard on me and I couldn’t do anything BUT me being 23, a college graduate, able to be in a different state living my best SAVED life has shown me you weren’t raising no regular degular and that’s what it took.

I pray that I am even half of what you’ve dreamed of and that I make you proud. Thank you for loving me. I’m still gone make it big and buy you a house or two. I love you with every ounce of my being and I’m so grateful the lord gave you to me.
