2026 NADD NorthCentral Regionals

oh my gosh, where do I start.
we had an AMAZING time, this one is memorable for sure.

Storm competed in all 3 disciplines for the first time at regionals and here’s her placements.

Distance - 28th place Junior (11’0)
Hydro Dash - 16th place Junior (19.506)
Air Retrieve - 2nd Place Novice (8’0)
H.AR.D Charger - 12th Place Topaz

I’m so BEYOND proud of my girl and her accomplishments this season. Starting air retrieve and being capable of doing it after such an eventful weekend at a chaotic environment was amazing.

she’s been jumping shorter in distance, but that’s okay i’m sure part of it is from air retrieve. Her confidence has been amazing however and she’s having fun, thats all that matters!

it was great seeing some of our friends and making new ones!! really enjoyed meeting and cheering on @purposeful.paws, their pups are INSANE! 👏🏼

I made the call to leave Quinn home this morning. I felt it the whole day.

I woke up not feeling well and already running late, and getting her ready on top of myself would have made it so much worse. So I left her. Which is not something I do often.

Got home from work and before anything else we did a quick pool cooldown for the dogs. Sick or not, they still needed that. Then it was time to go to the doctor and I was not feeling well enough to drive so we walked. And before anyone asks, yes I brought my service dog to an appointment when I was already sick and not at my best. Because doctors make me anxious, and anxiety is one of my biggest triggers for my fainting disorder. Quinn monitors me, keeps me regulated, and alerts if something is coming. Sick or not, that is just how we move.

Turns out it is just a cold. We are both in bed waiting on my prescription and neither of us is mad about it.

Tell me I am not the only one who still took care of everyone else before taking care of themselves.
