I don't know if I can post this giveaway (for the deadline and all) and it might seem like I ended up out of ideas, plus I actually had a lot. It's just that when I read the word "rescue" two thoughts occurred to me that I really wanted to express: First of all, the turtles. When I found out about this series, I had no energy to draw, I was very stressed and I felt very lost, but then I laughed, I cried and I was inspired, they were so silly, so different and not all people understood them. The color, the animation, the humor and the love filled my heart with enough strength to resurface (so, in case you see this, thank you @andy_suriano ). And second, @daedelweiss For a long time I've been imagining alternate stories for many of the fandoms I follow, unfortunately I always thought that anyone would be interested in any different story I made up, and suddenly I met the count of daedelweiss. And yes, there is a lot of Au from this tmnt, but, this artist was one of the first to scare away the fears in my mind of creating something different and showing it to the world. Even as I was falling down again, the trailer made me want to try even harder to see my imagination and dreams come true into something as beautiful as that. And I know that they have been in trouble and lost, and I would like them to know that there are many people, including me, something indispensable: you are great, you inspired us and most importantly
"anatawa hitorijanai".

SO HI, HELLO, I AM NOT DEAD, I AM VERY ALIVE ACTUALLY-

I just wanted to share this, cause it's the anniversary of me and my friends creating these silly little guys and meshing them together into their own story (yes they are Rise Kinsonas, what of it)

The second slide is my guy of the hour, but I just wanted a piece focused on everyone else cause they deserve the spotlight.

Enjoy the slop I've cooked for you!! Cause it does not come by often

After a long long wait I’m finally back and with another DTIYS that I’ve been meaning to finish! I absolutely adore @daedelweiss Life Mission AU and although I’m a little late, I still wanted to show my love for their version of the boys💖(when that trailer dropped my siblings and I stopped everything to go watch it and it was AMAZING ✨so much love has been poured into it I can’t wait to see what’s coming next!!)

#risetober2023 Day 1: Stars

NOTE: Original post won't let me change the updated image so I had to delete and repost this one.

When I first created this prompt list and added “Stars”, I KNEW I wanted to do a redraw of my Life Mission: Save My Brothers DTIYS entry back in March.

I really wanted to join this dtiys since I’m absolutely IN LOVE with the #rottmntlifemissionau by @daedelweiss , but I sorta forgot about it and realized the deadline was coming up a couple of days ago (man this wording is confusing, basically deadline’s today which I realized a couple of days ago lmao) when I was still busy with smth else so I might have taken a few shortcuts (namely not drawing fullbodies n also only having the missing brothers‘ faces seen as star constellations, but honestly I kinda like it; also decided to have Donnie partially covered by clouds since he’s believed to be dead; I know I know, I actually put a lot of thought behind a piece instead of just going for whatever comes up first?? Unbelievable)
-
Also I drew all of this on this very day when usually I would split smth like this over the course of multiple days to give myself time to find stuff I can improve or see if I actually like certain aspects or not so watch me find smth that I absolutely would have changed the second I saw it otherwise
-
Second slide is the original (as I said I took some shortcuts and also a lot of artistic liberties lmao)
-
Also also Mikey’s Face is still the hardest to draw and I’m most definitely not happy with how that turned out, but oh well-

A big round of applause for @daedelweiss
You are creating a really great story about the brothers. I really like every page of the comic you've published so far. You have a lovely style that caught my attention.

I can't wait to see what you show us in the future
And I'm so happy I was able to take part in your challenge, because it was great fun

Good luck!
