Hi everyone! Good grief, no, we are not playing 'The Hell Song' this coming Thursday on Hengqin Island, hahaha! I know, I still have school during the day, but it’s the Mid-Autumn Festival Eve! We just have to head over to Hengqin and play some cool music for the citizens there, in case they decide to come out and enjoy the beautiful festive vibe early.
I heard we are going to perform for the government folks and locals that night, so if you are in the neighbourhood, you absolutely have to drop by. We will only be performing for about 30 minutes, I believe. And yes, I still have school the following day (Friday), despite it already being a public holiday in Mainland China.
Anyway folks, I truly hope you like this high-energy live cover of 'The Hell Song,' done by local emo band 'Bad Minchi'—over in Zhuhai. Pop punk tracks like this always hit different live. Let me know in the comments if you’re ready for this energy!

Tonight, Bad Minchi and I will be playing emo songs in Zhuhai and yes, it is absolutely music to my ears that I am going to wrap up my summer holiday with a gig right before school begins!!!! How cool is that?! I lowkey have other reels ready but I really have to pack and get the show on the road for the gig tonight, so I'm bringing you this one with my posse from Bad Minchi in it. So, come see us at Bohemia LIVE bar if you are in the neighborhood. We start at 10pm and you have plenty of time heading to Zhuhai. See ya!

How time flies! “Tempus fugit,” as the saying goes. Arraial de São João was 2 months ago but it felt like a whole vintage year had passed, because I seem to have done quite a lot in these 2 months: travelling two times, slap bass series, collabs, live shows, writing songs, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my dad.
So it’s taking me a hot minute to post these gems, taken by our stellar new photographer Cris, who seems to have spelt her name wrong and missed a “h”. Of course we know it wasn’t spelt incorrectly but intentionally. It’s not an English name.
Other than our new photographer, a galaxy of some other musician friends went on stage to gig with us on the second day, as the grand finale of the show was “Mina Pang & Friends”. It was a great honour that I was entrusted to organize the show for the last hour and a half. Not only I was grateful to my friends from Bad Minchi, The Cotton Kids and 110 Degrees, I felt deeply grateful I had such cool friends who came over to catch me when I leaped, so that the audience who came had the time of their lives. It was such an amazing party, and I hope we will be able to make history together again next time!

The entire experience felt just blissfully surreal! Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to the organizers of this year’s Arraial de São João for having the faith in us to curate the 'Mina Pang & Friends' showcase. It was an absolute privilege to play music before such an incredible crowd—we were truly in our element up there. I must also extend a heartfelt shout-out to my brilliant inner circle from the emo band 'Bad Minchi'—Veni, Dan, Diogo, and of course, Bruno. Having you share the stage with me was a masterclass in...hmm......what's the word, kinship! Hahaha, and you all absolutely understood our assignment well. Your participation meant the world to me, and I dearly hope you enjoyed the set as much as I did. So folks, here is our rendition of Green Day’s classic, 'Basket Case.' I hope it also strikes a chord with you all!

Hello, lovely people! I am truly floating on cloud nine reflecting on how beautifully the '67 Fest' turned out, and my heart is still overflowing with gratitude for every single one of you who showed up to support us. Your presence honestly meant a lot to me. As many of you know, the weather took quite a dreadful turn over the weekend, but thank goodness Diogo , Captain Dan and Bruno came through so clutch. We were incredibly gracious these gentlemen move heaven and earth, pivoting all the bands to Red House so the festival wouldn't have to be called off. Me and dad were terrified at the thought of us or anyone getting electrocuted or struck by lightning mid-gig—safety is always the most important! Playing inside the cool, air-conditioned Red House was an absolute vibe, though I must admit it was a pity for the skaters whose events had to be postponed. That said, I am certain those events will be back on track and hitting their stride in no time. So, a little bird just dropped some fresh footage into my inbox! The first half features myself trying to play Slash’s iconic guitar solo— I gave it my absolute all to ensure it would slay—and the latter half shines a well-deserved spotlight on my brilliant bandmates with the band members intro. I hope you all like the reel. Tell me what you think?

Hi all! The gig we had yesterday at Macao University of Tourism was fun as expected! Of course I was wearing my new purple band t-shirt. But boy, it was humid. We felt happy because the event went well despite of the unsettling weather, and instead of doing everything in an open area, it took place under a roof. We had an after-party dinner and it was great catching up with Bruno and Diogo. However, the real comedy unfolded before I even struck a single chord. For reasons known only to the universe, Bruno and Diogo parked all the way behind the university by the hillside—quite a trek from the venue. Seeing this, my dad thought it’d be nice to drive over and guide them to our reserved VIP lot. Yet, instead of following us, the two gentlemen plus Bruno's bass decided to cram straight into our car!

Now, our backseat was already playing host to 3 of our guitars (w/ a 4th in the trunk and heavy rigs). Knowing we were blocking the traffic, Diogo and I agreed that rearranging them again would be a pain so we simply sat! It was a bit chaotic, but honestly, the ride lasted a mere two minutes and it was an absolute hoot. Tell me, you've sat on the floor of a car before? Hahaha!
Since our dear Shirly is not is out of town, we had a wonderful new eye behind the lens yesterday. The photos are still in the oven, but I’m sure they’ll be ready soon. In the meantime, one video is ready so folks, I hope it brings a smile to your face!

P.S.: I snapped a guitar string again mid show!
